Cavs probably still make the finals just based on sheer talent and the fact the east is shit, but I seriously doubt they would be favorites.

Kyrie and Kobe on the same team would be...kind of redundant. If they slowed the game down to a crawl and just played thru Kobe in the post, Cleveland might have a decent shot.

Because Kobe is a winner, Lebron is a loser.

Well at least I can rest easier ignoring everything about basketball that he has ever, or will ever, say.

When Stephen A says something negative about Kobe,
Lebeta fans be like " Stephen A is a professional analysts, he knows his stuff"

Kobe's championship teams had some of the best ball movement in the league. True story.

I don't think Iggy would be as effective guarding prime Kobe compared to Bran. Prime Kobe would light him up in the post. Kyrie, JR, Love, and Frye will space the floor so Kobe can operate in the post frequently. I think the strategy would be to slow the game down and play through the post.

The "Kobe Assist" doesn't count as ball movement :lol

So if Cavs had a 25.2 on 40% Finals performer, instead of LeBron, they would be favored? :biggums:

ARE YOU HIGH OR JUST PLAIN STUPID???

YOU GOTTA GET IN THE POST TO USE THE POST. IGGY IS ONE OF THE BEST DEFENDERS AT KEEPING POST UP WINGS FROM POSTING UP/GETTING TO THEIR SWEET SPOT.

SORRY.....KOBE WOULD LEAD THIS CAVS TEAM TO GETTING FUCCING SWEPT IN CONVINCING FASHION

Prime Kobe would lock down Curry and outscore him while wrecking Barnes, Iggy, Thompson or whoever they put on him.

The Cavs have two great offensive rebounders in Love and Thompson who already have the rebounding advantage against Bogut and Green, and then Kobe will give them the significant rebound advantage by attacking the double team and giving gives his team a 4 on 3 rebounding game.

Then add Kyrie Irving--which Kobe would have molded into a MVP level player by the way--who will thrive by taking advantage of the 4-3 Kobe advantage on the wing with his great shooting, ball handling and passing abilities. Plus another 3 pointer specialist on the wing and it's over trying to defend them.

This would put everyone in their correct role and spot instead of reducing everyone's role to spot up shooter via lebron ball. Thompson offensive glass/finisher. Love midpost/lowpost offensive glass. Kyrie running the offense, getting Kobe the ball in prime scoring position, and adding an option B offensively taking over when the defense makes someone other than Kobe beat them.

Defensively Kobe would limit curry's three with his bigger body and excellent defensive skill and Kobe would also not let the Curry/Green pick and roll game, which is how Green gets most his triples doubles, happen because he would not need a hard hedge to stop Curry.

Most would agree that KOBE had or has a better mindset than Lebron when it comes down to BIG MOMENTS IN BIG GAMES... Kobe isn't afraid where with Lebron you never know... I agree with that assessment..

Prime Kobe couldnt lock anyone down... Artest locked PPierce down and Ray Allen was locked down by Fisher in 2010... Kobe was exploited as a defender in 2008 VS BOTH OF THESE GUYS...

Kobe would be a nightmare for Curry or Klay. And we all know Prime Kobe could kill anyone on the block. Kobe dropped 50 on Iggy in his prime :oldlol:

Iggy even spoke about it about how one game Kobe was off. The next time they faced each other, Kobe stopped by the locker room to tell his teammates to tell Iggy "50 for sure". He had 48 that game.

It doesn't matter, Kobe is nowhere near to James when it comes to drive-kick out passes nor has he the court vision/passing ability or willingness to pass of James. He is just not capable of creating as many open looks for Love, JR, Irving or Frye so that lineup looks nice on paper but that's about it.

Kobe in 09-11 showed tons of passing ability. He has in it him :facepalm

I see no lies in his statement. With LeBETA when it comes to the Finals...you know what you're going to get - a more than likely loss.

2/6 vs. 5/7?

Kobe in his prime over this Lebron? Please 10 times out of 10 you take Kobe. I can see a LeBETA stan making a case for 12' LeBETA but not 16' LeBETA.

Yeah, like when the media said LA was favored over Boston in 2008 because Kobe's a winner and an assassin. Then they got killed.

I would actually pick the Cavs in 6, but that's just a dream scenario. Warriors in 5.

06-02-2016, 05:17 PM
This Cavs team would be Kobe's most stacked roster he ever played on by far.Klay would be a non factor, and he'd feast on the Warriors defense so badly it's not even funny. no doubt Curry would put up a fight, but Cavs in 5

Sakkreth
06-02-2016, 05:30 PM
That would be horrible. Not only that he wouldn't fit at all but also the Cavs don't even have dominant bigs to bail Kobe out.

Smoke117
06-02-2016, 05:33 PM
Probably...which shows how stupid people are. The cavs would be significantly worse with Kobrick instead of Lebron.

Kobe's a killer. Win at all costs. Doesn't care about BS box scores.

The Cavs would EASILY beat the Warriors with a prime Kobe and everyone knows it.

My god how stupid can a "professional analyst" be?
It's funny how Kobetards bitch about ESPN but time they praise they're idol ESPN becomes a credible source.

There is literally nothing Kobe can do better than Lebron outside of shooting, which is almost ineffective against GSW because of their top notch paint defense.

Kobe and Kyrie on the same team?:oldlol: There would be ZERO ball movement on top of the rim falling out from all the jacked up bricks.

Kobe is a shit Finals performer. The worst of all the top 10 GOATs. Don't even entertain that bullshit.

BedroomBully

That's not what he said jackass! Not with this current team! With a team that was constructed for him! Perhaps the 2001 Lakers.
