This Cavs team is going for blood tonight. They have revenge on their minds. The Warriors had better be prepared. LeBron is juiced up and ready to go. If the Warriors play lackadaisical and without focus they will get their asses handed to them.

If Golden State continues to shoot ridiculous shots at a ridiculous success rate it likely won't matter. But the Cavs will absolutely be the most complete team GSW have faced yet and GSW will have to defend far better than they have to this point.
Sadly, this is going to come down to shot making. ATL had the #2 D in the NBA and Cle just shot the lights out, making 77 3s on >50%. If they do that again, GSW have no chance. But if Curry and Klay get rolling like they did at the end of the OKC series they will get it done. The most and second most 3s made in a playoff series were Klay and Steph LAST ROUND.
Kind of a shame that's what dictates success at this level.

In my opinion and I've said it repeatedly over the season, if Cleveland's game plan is to go 3point shot for 3 point shot with the Warriors they're getting wrecked in 4 or 5 games, simple as that. The 3 point efficiency they're having against the pathetic Eastern Conference in these playoffs is fool's gold and will get then worked in the Finals if they try to do the same.
However, if the Cavs can mix in some inside work for Lebron, Kevin Love and even Mosgov and let the attention from the defense committed to them down low open up the 3 pointers their offense will be much more diverse and would take advantage of the Warriors weakness inside. If they do this the series can go 6 to 7 games with them having a shot.
Make no mistake about it, the Warriors are the better team and have the best personnel to play the system they play. For the Cavs to have a chance they can't play the same way as the Warriors.

Agreed with both assessments. I think the Cavs have their game down pat. Love and Irving don't even have to have huge games concurrently. Cavs have enough role players to even out the load. I think they will be better than the Thunder. Time will tell.

Cavs were taken to 6 games by the Raps. They will do well just to win one game.

Never Underestimate the Heart of a 2x NBA Champion. Last year the Cavs won 2 games without Irving and Love. Raptors are a better defensive team than the OKC Thunder, and they caught the Cavs sleep walking. Cavs destroyed them in Game 5 and 6.

Of course they are better than the Thunder who #1 choked with stupid TOs and hero ball but also didn't have the other weapons to take pressure off of Westbrook and KD passing up open looks. Say hypothetically Lebron, Irving, love and KD, Westbrook, Ibaka is a wash the Cavs role players like JR, Fyre, Shump,RJ, Delly all can knock down the open shots unlike OKC others.. Plus lebron is a much better court general and will keep Warriors on toes with passing and scoring mix.

Stacked. If the Warriors go cold it may even be a blowout. Stay tuned.

The Warriors are coming off a 3-1 comeback and are as mentally prepared as ever for the Finals. They smell blood.

How many Finals MVP did Wade win with Lebron on his team?

I just don't have faith in anyone on the Cavs outside of Lebron. Irving, Love, and the role players will all have to be great for them to have a chance. Any inconsistency on their part could spell doom for the Cavs. There's very little margin of error. They can't afford the hiccups they had in games 3 and 4 of the last series.

He would have had one if, well you know.

If Wade could close the deal in 2011? Well too bad he couldn't. His elimination Game 6 was also pathetic

Let's hope the Cavs get this. I want to get excited but right now I'm yawning at this matchup.

The most stacked roster in the league with by far the highest payroll in the league is going to put up a fight?

He was injured in game 6 idiot, but there wouldn't even had been a game 6 if Lebron didn't shoot 25% in 4th quarters. If Lebron shoots a mere 35%, the Heat sweep the series.

Just like he was 'injured' in 2007, 'injured' in 2013, and 'injured' in the 2014 Finals. :confusedshrug:
Sooner or later you have to stop blaming Wade's pathetic play on injuries.
I guess LeBron was 'injured' in 2011, so you can't blame him for that loss.

What the hell are you talking about? :oldlol:
Lebron was 100% healthy in the 2011 finals. Wade's injuries were all well documented. BTW, I never claimed Wade was injured in the 2014 finals. He averaged 20/5/4 on 55% in the ECF. He had a bad finals, plain and simple, just like Lebron in 2011.

Agree with OP. He literally had to do it alone last year; things are very different this year. He'll be living in the paint, guaranteed.

Get off Curry's Nuts Old man. You are older than Dirt. Lebron still has more Finals MVP than Curry.

Kneejerk reaction #1:
I've seen enough. Cavs look much worse defensively than OKC. Kyrie is no Westbrook. I'd rather have OKC's role players than Cleveland's.
LeBron is not enough.
Warriors in 6.

Curry made 402 threes this season. Highest all time. The next highest 3's made in a season was Klay at 286, in this season also.
The next closest is Ray Allen back in 2005 with 269.
This series is over before it even started.
