If he goes to Miami he will. Hell, you can take this to the bank: if the Heat had Whiteside and Bosh, LeBron would have gone home after Game 6 of the conference finals. Even with just Whiteside, the Heat would have been 50/50 to make the Finals.

So add Durant and resign Whiteside (obviously trading Dragic) and make them part of a new big 3 with Wade, and the Cavs won't see the Finals again. And if Bosh can go, fuhgettaboutit. Cleveland will get embarrassed.

Um, maybe any one of the half dozen teams or so in the West that were better than the second best team in the East those years? Even if the some of those individual WC teams weren't better than Miami, collectively, they would have ground the Heat down.

The Heat had one legit conference rival in each of those years, the Celtics one year and the Pacers the other (and let's face it, the Pacers don't really count).

Yet ANOTHER reason why LBJ can never be compared to the GOAT is that in for much of MJ's career not only was the East the top conference but the Central Division was the strongest division. These days the East is the JV league, and James stilll can't win rings in that conference without blatant collusion.
