Lebron being the first option is fine, but he needs a 2nd option who is great off the ball. Wade made it work because he's one of the best cutters in the league and is masterful at exploiting soft spots in the defense. Irving doesn't have that ability. His scores are almost always unassisted.

Funny thing is those guys have massive statistical drops when they play with lebron and yet have a massive increase in production without him...you cannot simply attribute that to coincidence

It's the medias fault. Built an entire generation of basketball fans who conflate being a PG with being a "facilitator".

The media, Lebron himself and a slew of other people TRULY believe that Lebron is the best PG on the floor which is not only detrimental to the PG's on your roster, but also makes EVERYONE on your team play out of position and suddenly play bball in a way thats uncomfortable to them.
