Bringing back painful memories. Look at your GAWD choking. Somehow people are forgetting that but are looking to kill LeBron every chance they get.

I am here to finish you fools

And from the 8:00 minute mark of the 1st quarter till the rest of the game, went 3-17.
Has 1 point on a technical foul free throw during something like an 18 minute stretch in the first half when the Celtics blew the game wide open and the Lakers were looking for their supposed leader who was planted firmly in Posey's back pocket, nowhere to be found.

It was the worst loss in Lakers finals history and the second biggest destruction in nba finals history. It was humiliating for every legend that had to watch the Lakers do THAT.

Lakers lost by 39 points

it doesn't matter if Kobe has a more efficient game, they lost by 39 points.

it was a close game until the Boston bench came in and scored 11 straight in the 2nd quarter and KG went off for 3 straight shots, Lakers were down by 25 by then at the half and obviously Kobe went out shooting some wild threes with his team being down 30+

KG destroyed Pau in Game 6, 26 pts 14 reb 10/18 shooting highest +/- on his team since he had a couple high-scoring runs.

Pau had 11 pts 8 reb 5 turnovers in 32 minutes, that's all you need to know about that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upnbGiIg-8Q

Here's footage of these runs, who is the guy Boston is scoring on? It's not Kobe. 1st highlight of the game you have Pau getting stripped in the post which leads to a wide open Ray Allen 3 after Lakers started the game 4 - 0.

Who was the one that didn't show up? Kobe hit three 3s in the first quarter alone, kept them in the game. Then KG goes off on Pau and Vujacic gives up b2b threes from the corner and the lead balloons from there.

Kobe was guarding Pierce when they went on the run, Pierce went 4/13, everything after that is gravy as the game was decided already.

This was one of the worst performances in nba history in an elimination game by any star player. Completely went missing. You won't find many games worse than this 7-22 choke fest. I'll tell you that!

That's right. Lebron took the same team to 7 games but most importantly put up 45 in the elimination game 7 while facing a much more stringent defensive attention than Kobe did.

Lebron that same year against that same team averaged 18.8 points 6.3 rebounds 9.0 assists 5.8 turnovers on 25.6% shooting

his team won 2 out of those 4 games in blowouts with him shooting 12/36

they lost a game by 4 points with Lebron going 2/18 with 10 turnovers :wtf:

He's lucky his team wasn't swept since his teammates showed up

Everyone remembers him having 45 in Game 7 but forgot how he also gave up 41 points to Pierce, who he was guarding and who closed out the game shooting 3s in his face

Cavs were down 1 with 2 minutes to go and Lebron misses his last 3 shots, including a FT

Kobe doesn't have 4th quarter chokes in elimination games where his team is in position to take the game :sleeping

How many points did Lebron score in the last 2 minutes of the game?

1 point, as he made 1 out of 2 FTs :biggums:

They lost a close game where P.J brown hit the two shots that put Boston in the lead for good :oldlol:

score less than P.J brown in the last 2 minutes of a close elimination game, brehs.

Lebron in his last elimination game

32 points on 13/33 shooting (39%)

how you gonna shoot 13/33 in a Finals Game that's played at home? And your team only loses by 8?

guess what he shot in the 2nd half of an elimination game in the Finals at home? 5/16, missing every single shot outside 3 ft

Actually Kobe started the game off smoking, just as he did game 7 vs Phoenix in 2006 ... And he was locking up the defensive assignment on Pierce. Everyone else on the team looked shook and got bullied by the Celtics bench. The game was over fairly early.

As usual, Kobe's standards are horrifingly low.. Bron gets killed for his 30 point game on 50+% against the Spurs where he had like 20 first quarter points...

Bean meanwhile...

It was a 25-point game by halftime, and Kobe played the entire half, and let a 4-point game go to 25, while doing absolutely nothing offensively, seeing his team score 15 points in the second quarter, three made shots, of which he contributed zero, and only scored 3 technical free throws due to defensive three seconds.

Kobe through the first half had 14/1/0 on 4-11 36% with 3 TO's. Absolutely no resemblance of an all-around game or trying to get his team going.

Zero resistance. Couldn't do anything as his opponent rolled over them. No all-time performance at his basketball peak. Kobe wasn't capable of what LeBron would so in such an elimination game. This was the game he had to do something great.

Bron stans are hilarious. Kobe struggled against the two best defenses in history in the 04 Pistons and 08 Celtics while having everything but the kitchen sink thrown against him in both series. Meanwhile LeBrick was stinking it up against the likes of the 11 Mavs (one of the worst Finals defenses in the last 30 yrs) or 15 Warriors (merely a great defensive that was still not even remotely close to the 08 Celtics or 04 Pistons while being freaking single-covered). I mean, do you clowns seriously not see the difference here? :oldlol:

I didnt specifically adress you with that, did I? (the game 5 comment.. 'Bron gets killed')

Why are you ignoring the rest of my post? How low are your standards for starting the game off hot... the first 6 mins? :oldlol:

What about the second quarter when he stod and let his team go from down 4 to 25 as he turned the ball over and bricked it up... who cares about the first 4 hot minutes then.

Kobe finished 3-17 and went 18 minutes without a single field goal as he allowed Boston to blow the game open and finish off the series. No where to be found. He was absolutely awful.

As a Jordan, you'd think that the standards you'd expect from players are higher. Not so in your case, apparently.

Dude, all I said was Kobe started the game shooting well, and had the toughest defensive assignment guarding Pierce. Which he was also quite effective at doing.

Did I say he was fantastic? No. Did I say the Lakers lost in spite of a tremendous performance from Kobe? No. So what are you even remotely talking about for standards. I was forged on Jordan growing up, I have the highest of standards.

I didn't say Kobe was great, or mention LeBron's game 5 v.s. the Spurs. Where I actually applauded his on set aggressiveness for the first time after game 1 for that entire series. Where he generally put points on the board in padding fashion after the outcome was already decided.

All I was combating originally was idiot OP's stretch of insecure threads, this one specifically, asserting Kobe was horrendous. Which he wasn't. His team didn't show up, and the competition ran rough shot over them. And it should be obvious that when a team's superstar plays poorly in an elimination game that his squad would lose.

You and Arbitrary Water are beyond insecure in regards to Kobe Bryant, or how he relates compartively to LeBron. Why? Yall act like he's not a consensus top 12 player all-time.

Just rewatched the game. It was a 23 minute stretch.
Twenty three minutes without a field goal in a Finals elimination game as you allow your fiercest rivals to completely take over the game and annihilate you to be crowned champions.

This was an awful performance by Kobrick. One of the all time worst.

That's just excruciatingly awful.
