Winners take risks while losers dont.
Anyone who knows shit knows that scorers carry the team and everyone else are there to make the job of the scorer easier. Rebounders rebound the ball for them. Passers make scoring easier for them. Coaches provide a system to also make it easy for him and defenders to preserve his stamina for crunch time scoring.
What this tells you is to get the win, youve got to sacrifice stats. Youve got to do everything else less to effectively score and have enough stamina in crunch time. And thats what separates winners from losers. Winners knew that their stats wouldnt be top 10 material if they fail but at the same time, no one can doubt their greatness if they win. Meanwhile stats may fool the gullible ones, but they cant fool those who knows basketball.
Winners go for the harder route( winning rings) while losers are willing to settle for less(stats). Losers are afraid to fail. They knew they have no chance of being considered great if they sacrifice stats and still fail. If you go for stats, there are still idiots who would defend you to death if youre 2/7. But winners arent pusies. Its either you are either undoubtedly great or bust. No inbetweens.
And this too is the reason why bran stans are losers. They are afraid to fail so they choose the player with the best stats coz thats the safest pick. They arent confident in their eye test skills
