A fully engaged LeBron James I would put around 3, in his prime LeBron when fully engaged is number one on this list BTW.

People forget examples such as that Game 6 in the Finals in 2013 where a huge part of why they won was he just completely shut down Tony Parker man to man in the closing stretches while doing all he did offensively.

2011 Conference Finals he had games where he did a great job against Carlos Boozer AND Derrick Rose. Just insane.

Currently, Locking down a back to back MVP to 8 points, remarkable

yep. The problem with lebron is that he carries the offensive load being the teams point guard and main scorer.

It's crazy how Golden State has like three top 10 perimeter defenders in the league. Arguably 4.

Klay
Draymond
Iguodala

Barnes = borderline top 10.

It's tricky how you want to define perimeter defender.

I was thinking man to man lock down perimeter guys.

Draymond IMHO is the best defensive player in the NBA.

But really only a fraction of his value is derived from that, much much more about his versatility, pick and roll D, rim protection, general awareness etc.
