Serious question, I don't think so.

Same shit I was thinking. We gotta go back to the Jordan era where he could dominate finals games on both ends. Look at these loser superstars on the court. It doesn't even matter who wins

Besides Green the rest of each teams "Big 3" have been pretty much a non factor

What are you referring to?

Barkley putting up 27-13-6?

Malone putting up 24-10-4 and 25-10-4?

Curry is averaging 14.5 ppg in these two dominant wins.

14.5ppg.

Curry is not even on Billups level.

stop being ignorant..

you same haters who will chastize curry for not being able to play from behind, also killing him for not being able to put up stats in a blowout.

fact of the matter is, if everything were close, curry would be relied on much more, and would be producing at or past his expected level.

Godamn man.. **** the east. That shit has screwed the Finals out of being a competitive series.

OP, basketball is a team game. There is no need for a player chucking his way to 81 points if you have a team. Team > stars.

Surely Curry missing threes he's used to making, isn't part of it, right. Missed 4/6 threes at the half and played quite passive. You guys alway talk about Lebron's mental shortcomings, but Curry is actually in the same ballpark. If his shot is not falling he gets desperate and reacts by becoming passive. His big advantage is that if the offense keeps flowing nonetheless and he starts to get unforced looks he can make them with his excellent shooting. But overall it's not Curry stepping aside for others to shine like you Curry fans, stans, bandwagoners or whatever you are like to portray, but Curry having off nights. Pretty sure if he hits 3 of his first 4 threes he keeps shooting. It's not like his highly efficient threes he usually takes and makes are detrimental to his team's success.

The guy led a 73 win team with 30ppg through the season and there were many blowouts were he sat 12 or more minutes and still scored 25+.

Acting like it's benificial for his team when he scores less is some weird twisting.

He's being trapped, that's why the entire team other than Klay all have open shots (also Cav D sucks). He sucked shooting in game 1 not 2, where he was 7/11 on the field and 50% from 3. Even though 90sgoat is an awful poster with an agenda who loves blowing every top player from the 90s or earlier, he has a point. Neither Lebron or Steph have lit it up, but I'd like to make these ratings until the series is over. Need to wait it out a bit more.

GSW/OKC was the real finals.

I'm pretty sure Cleveland would have beaten OKC. Lebron has always played very well against OKC. I think he feels much more comfortable to gu up against Durant (kinda like his pupil) than going up against Curry who's dethroning him at the moment. Unfortunately for Cleveland Klay turned the GSW - OKC series around in game 6 and now the Cavs get a real good beating from GSW.

btw I'm still a bit dissapointed that we didn't get a chance to see the Spurs - Warriors series. I think that would have been the real finals.

Ηοw about waiting till the Finals are actually over?
Do you think all previous first 2 games of NBA Finals featured legendary performances?

last one I can recall is 2007 with Lebron playing like trash and Parker being the best offensive player on the Spurs

Curry and the Warriors are a perfect example of the rule changes.....if teams don't catch up you'll see the same Shit. I think Curry would still be good, but a mfer that can shoot that well and can't be handchecked results in the Shit u see. They are trying to guard a sharpshooter thats allowed to dribble all over the place....you are at his mercy...get to close, he will go by you and you cannot reroute him....play off him and he can dribble like the Harlem globetrotters and shoot all day.

Finals is boring period. Even without him doing Shit.

Right now it's biggest ppg differential from the reg. season to the Finals.

No way to spin it.....30ppg to 14.5, that's bad.

Yeah, he'S trapped bringing the ball upcourt, but he doesn't get double teams off the ball and rarely, when he gets the ball back. He gets enough good looks, he just keeps missing. His offense is so depending on "flow". As good as he is, he can shoot himself out of games and it seems like it happens more in the playoffs as in the RS. To be truely on that top 10 goat level, he needs another dimension in his game other than shooting to keep himself afloat, when defenses get tighter and start to bully him.

Although he's quick his driving game isn't good enough to keep defenses as honest about it as much as closing out on him on the perimeter. What teams like the Cavs pay for is that they let other guys get good looks after the first 1 or 2 passes.
