After this series and the inevitable 2/7 lets do some simple math.
In order for Lebron to ever be a career Finals winner (mark of a true top 5 player) he would need to:
Win next year 3/8 (Age 32 season, deteriorating skills)
Win 2018 season 4/9 (Age 33 season, possible injury year with deteriorating body)
Win 2019 season - Finally 5/10 (Age 34 season - not sure he could sustain his skill set that far out)
All of this means he needs to win 3/3 over the next 3 seasons. 1 loss throws the entire calculation off and simple age/skills ratios shows this is never possible. And at this point, does anyone expect his career goes beyond 2020?
Unless Lebron switches to Power Forward, the reality must hit pretty hard to his fans. Sorry.
