View Full Version : Lebron needs to play like LeBron in 2015, Irving needs to lead the 2nd unit.

He's the only one who can consistently score against these Warriors team. Irving needs to come off the bench. Cavs needs an scoring option in their 2nd unit.

Irving needs to sacrifice his ego. He was abused by Curry and Barbosa last night.

He does need to, but I think he is scared of getting stripped and having more turnovers. Warriors D is in his head, making him play worse than his abilities would allow him to. This has always been the criticism of LeBron. He is mentally fragile and gives up when the going gets tough.

Lol what do you mean sacrifice his ego, he isn't out there playing hero ball and ruining his team chances or anything. Whole Cavs team including LeBron played like trash.

Cavs won shit. GSW choke themselfs to two losses. They even outdone Lebron massive choke in game 2. It was normal, a inexperient team with barely any playoffs experience playing the finals. The moment the settled down, they steamrolled the cavs.

The guy is a terrible defender. He made Nash look like a Prime Gary Payton.

Not for Bran and his fans.

They're happier with false big numbers and an L.

They're happier with false big numbers and an L.coming from a fan of a player who sabotaged an all time great team in an attempt to win fmvp over Shaq and cost them the series.
So pissed, was his coach, that he wrote a book trashing him subsequently.

While he isn't a good defender, Cavs defensive woes are a team mistake. Doubling Curry off the dribble as if Curry isn't going to make a correct pass, unnecessary switching of screens with allow quick slips by the Warrior's quicker forwards. Warriors are the best team in transition as well, so no stopping that besides limiting turnovers. However, the biggest problem is Lue's decision to match GSW's pace and small ball which plays completely into Kerr's hands.

Do you have to make a check payable to Kobe Bryant for rent or do you hand deliver it to him like LBJ does the Finals MVP to his opponent?

You're asking someone else this question about paying rent?

The majority of your posts aren't about LeBron?

They are actually in response to a LeBron thread or question. I never bring him up out of random like Feeble does.

Go ahead and find any post of mine involving LeBron and it'll be in response, never to start with him.

I actually am able to talk about bball outside of one player unlike that guy.

Not sure how taking 33 shots to score 39 points is going to help this team or going 7-22 in a gm 4 at home with a chance to go up 3-1 in the series with mozgov giving you a 30/10 game.

LeBron 2015 finals performance was garbage, 39% against 1 v 1coverage, why yall continue to act like dude was out there balling is a mystery to me.

bran can't just bully the warriors perimeter defenders like he did to all the eastern conference 'stoppers', aka bums he faced. Barnes, Iggy, and Green are all strong enough to hold their ground. hell I even saw klay completely thwart a lebron drive attempt yesterday w/ bran lowering the shoulder but he couldnt budge him. I was amazed seeing that.

True, except he needs to shoot much better than 39%, and his defense can't allow a bench player (Iggy) to BECOME A STARTER and score 8 ppg above his normal average with crazy efficiency.

He won 2 games in 2015 Finals despite these things - if he shot 50% and held Iggy to his normal averages, the Cavs would've won easily last year.. His performance would've compared to Jordan's in 1993 or 1991

James missed 14 of his 17 field goals in clutch time during the 2015 Finals, including shots to win in regulation of Game 1 and Game 2. The Cavaliers were outscored in the fourth quarter and overtime in every game but Game 6, when the Warriors had a comfortable lead entering the quarter.

For his career in the Finals, James has shot just under 30 percent in clutch time, which does not compare favorably to the shooting percentages of Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.

before the series OP and his merry band of butt buddies kept shoving down our throat the narrative that lebron won 2 games without his #2 and 3 last season, so if healthy theyd (almost easily) take this series. now OP is saying his #2 (and 3?) is better served on the bench.

i dont know filipino lebron... it sounds like lebron is slowly, but surely regressing. expect him to put together an avengers like all-star team next season
