Brock is going to get KO'd. Props for having the balls to step in the Octagon though.

Why you actin like he's never been here before?

Because he's a percentages guy

Never seen bdreason make a bold prediction ever

He's on the money though, Mark is the clear favorite

As far as my pick.. I'm going with Lesnar via GnP

I feel like, he'd only do this if his body felt really really good

Add that to the fact it's a late announcement so he hasn't had to worry about PED testing (This was premeditated by the UFC)

I think he can get Hunt to the floor and keep him there

Will be an interesting as hell fight though

I fear this will be similar to Hendo vs Bisping. Brock will have a few moments then BAM! Lights out. I assume he will come in charging like a bull to try to take Hunt down. No way it stays standing and Brock wins.

If Brock knew how to use his reach man... pretty much the perfect build for fighting.. Only guy that really matches him for being as gifted is Overeem

His problem is he panics when he gets hit in the face and reverts back to just trying to use brute strength instead of gathering himself and fighting intelligently. He is a smart guy, but if you have a suspect chin I suppose you're always aware of it. I give him props for not taking on an easy fight. Hunt is no joke and is flying high with confidence right now.

Brock was an illness away from being perfect in the UFC

Brock will merk

Hunt has arguably the hardest punch in MMA. That will mentally affect Brock most definitely. Like Tyson says, everyone has a plan, until you get punched in the face. Yeah I get he survived Carwin, but Hunt is more ring savy and better at reserving energy. I don't see how Brock survies this.

Being able to take a punch is a talent. A talent that Brock doesn't have. Some guys just don't like to get hit... and Mark Hunt has heavy hands.

Could Brock get Hunt down and ride him out for 3 rounds? Maybe. But the fight starts on the feet.

brock has terrible stand up and i dont see that changing. he's always been a pretty awful fighter other than his size and weighing on people with leverage. thats really the only skill i've ever seen out of that asshole. they should've given Connor this fight

It's funny to see Connor drop out and act like he took the air out of the card for UFC 200, now brock is returning and no one cares about connor :yaohappy:

Brock had spent some time away from the UFC to focus on his WWE career. It is unclear if he will be as good as he was when he was last champion.

I just want him to use his WWE entrance music at UFC 200. The outcome doesn't matter to me. :oldlol:

I feel like they just kept adding a zero til he said yes.

Brock is awesome. One of my favorite fighters to watch. I might place a bet on him if the odds are good enough.

EDIT: Just checked and Brock is at +160 right now. From the way everyone was talking about Hunt I thought he'd be a 3-1 underdog or something.

lesnar said that he was the one that called dana white, not the reverse.

he felt like diverticulitis sabotaged his career and that he had unfinished business in the octagon, so he asked to fight again. the WWE granted this as a one-off, but it's unknown what this will mean for the future.

he's going to make the UFC and himself a lot of money, but he could also cost the WWE some pretty big money if he was to get hurt or even if he decided to stay in MMA and dispute his wrestling contract.

yeah but I don't believe a word of anything anyone says from UFC, including fighters while in promotion mode.

This is money making to make up for Conor IMO.

I don't think Dana allowed it, and Connor is fighting Diaz in 202 apparently.

well, obviously.

but brock claims he first called the UFC three months ago. that seems to fit the timeline pretty well. before that, the UFC had almost made a superfight with he and fedor a couple years ago, so we know they were very close to a deal and we know lesnar wanted to come back.

brock really has little reason to come back for money, so this is probably more about him than about the UFC desperately trying to fill a hole.

they had already filled the loss of mcgregor with a fantastic replacement, that of jones - cormier II. not to mention, the card is also stacked as hell, anyway. it was going to be a huge win and profit, regardless of brock.

Lesnar is a side show at this point, but pretty cool card for 200 regardless. 3 titles fights, 2 that are competitive if not all 3(chicks), plus a top 3 HW vs a top 10 HW. A lot of bigger names on the prelims as well.

I'd still watch Brock/Fedor fwiw.
