Must be his PR team. He isn't lighting it up in the Finals, so like JVG said... he must be hurt again :lol

Why? do they intent to get pregnant? They just need a good excuse to chill in the summer.Like in 2004 when a lot refused citing terrorism as if Olympics were held in Baghdad..

Anone who will withdraw because of a bullshit virus is the definition of Beta and soft

He's going to need surgery in the off-season. This isn't surprising news. Team USA has plenty of talent at the PG position. Let a guy like Lillard or Conley get a shot at representing their country.

Imagine the never ending shit he'd get.

Wouldn't this be his first Olympics? I doubt he does it unless he is legitimately hurt, like some of us have continued to say on here.

Some of you act like every injury is the same and you're 100% all the time.

This will give him a chance to rest and recover any potential nagging injuries.

That's my guess as well. He might even do what Kobe did and get that experimental knee treatment in Germany.

As long as he doesn't lose a step because of the surgery. :facepalm Keep hearing that he might have to have a surgery as well. :facepalm

He's allegedly hurt and allegedly needs off season surgery.....so why was he still in the game with 10mins left and GS up by 25?

Def. looking to stat pad, looking for his first vote.

14 point game in Game 1 with 2:30 to go... Steph in there bombing 3's. :oldlol:

He was subbed out at the 1:31 mark, when it was a 17 point game.

He so hurt doe! :lol

"My previous experiences with USA Basketball have been incredibly rewarding, educational and enjoyable, which made this an extremely difficult decision for me and my family. However, due to several factors -- including recent ankle and knee injuries -- I believe this is the best decision for me at this stage of my career. It's an incredible honor to represent your country and wear 'USA' on your chest, but my primary basketball-related objective this summer needs to focus on my body and getting ready for the 2016-17 NBA season."

So now he's allgedly hurt again? Not surprised he's taking this route considering the 14.5ppg

Im sure he just wants time off and I dont blame him one bit. Wish he'd just come out and say it tho.

Curry is not 100%

No, he had a mild bruise that most players would have shrugged off. Instead he sat for nearly three weeks, and watched his teammates go 7-1 without him.

He is the biggest pansy in the league and the entire NBA knows it.

He was put back in the game with 6mins left and they're up 17. As far scoring goes, he was still in single digits (8pts) so he had to make sure he hit double digits on the stat sheet.

Yep...he's hurt

He's a Bulls fan. Rose plays for our Bulls.

And hey yo melting down hard. Curry can play injured. Don't think he wants to be out there playing hurt but it's the Finals. He needs two more wins for a repeat. He'll gut it out. Not stat padding like you claim.

I would too and think anyone who goes is nutz...unless they're done having kids. I was CNN or Fox News and saw a few babies on TV who parents and the virus. Heads all small, blind, stiff limbs and a host of other problems. Ppl are abandoning their babies because of it. Screw that shit.

If you plan on having kids still or if you lose 3 straight finals youd be better to chill for the summer.

All these athletes and tourists going to Rio would basically let the Zika virus spread like wildfire globally.

It's a bad move going there.

Good stuff.

Mainly say its transmitted from men to women via unprotected sex after being bitten. Telling all Olympians to abstain from unprotected sex for 30 days upon return from Rio. Yeah right Olympic Village is usually an orgy. :lol

I'm so happy he isn't going.

He's way more focused on a 3-peat than some meaningless beat downs of inferior competition.

Let Bran the front runner try to salvage what's left of his image over there.
