Well, the Warriors would clearly guard him differently, then he'd still likely struggle in the post.

it would sure help a bunch.
its kind of crazy that he has had this problem as far back as 2011 (major reason Mavs were able to turn him into a pumpkin) and yet he hasn't really done much to fix it.

Is Lebron getting a jumper going to help the entire Cavs team not suck as well?
If not, no it would make it a 20 point blowout instead of 30.

if he had a reliable midrange game, help defense would have to commit to him on his isolations (instead of allowing him to 1v1 with the help taking away passing lanes), freeing up his shooters he loves so much. you would think he would have worked on that nonstop this past summer considering what happened in the 15 finals.

Floor spacing is pretty damn important.
If you want Kyrie to have better results on things like his isos LeBron needs to have a jumper that the opposing defense respects.
Again, forcing him into being a perimeter player is exactly what Dallas did in 2011. This isn't some new development. If you can keep hm outside your odds of winning go up drastically b/c his jumper is very streaky.

Exactly. When Kyrie gets the ball, LeBron just stands around and watches him.
If he had a Karl Malone face-up jumper they could run a two-man game instead of just taking turns running the clock out.
