If this issue is going to get any bigger "female athletics" will eat itself. For years, female athletes and women's advocates have argued that women's sports deserves more recognition, more money and more screen time. But if enough genetic males compete in women's sports, eventually there will not really be gender in sport. Which effectively will mean pro sports will be all male. :lol

Society is trying to be openminded and tolerant towards transgender and the likes, but the biggest point activists make is that the binary sex system, as the called it, is dated. Well sports deploy a binary sex system. There's no transgender track and field team so if you're genetically a male, you run with the males, even if you have long hair and fake tits, if you don't like that well then apply for the transgender team or start one yourself.

At most higher levels of competition that have allowed male-to-female transgendered people to compete, a minimum level of hormone treatment has been needed and not just a statement of their belief. But that was obvious and you probably already knew that.
