These are the biggest myths that needs to stop.
Curry can always get his own shot regardless. False
MJ or any other great defender can single handedly stop Curry. False
atleast 70% of the time Curry gets his points off screens, some times double screens. He either catch and shoot or gets a favorable match up like a 6-9 or taller AND SLOWER player has to switch. That big defender a lot of times have to switch bec Curry can just pull up in half a second or Curry's screener can easily roll for an easy layup or if there's another rotator/help(if he is quick enough), the screener can pass to an open teammate for either an open 3pt shot or a layup.
If GSW is GOAT= then Curry is GOAT. False
Golden State is great not just because of the greatness of Curry, they have a great offensive system but their ability to defend have actually been repeatedly ignored by analysts and fans everywhere.
Iggy, Green, Thompson and even Barnes are actually good defenders who can switch and do a lot of things defensively.
I would argue that guys like peak Nash, peak Thomas, Lilliard would also greatly benefit of playing for the current GSW
