Obviously, Phil could tame him, he was who he was because he knew how to either control or channel personalities to the team's advantage. He's not coaching anymore, but it would be interesting to see what kind of beast Whiteside would have been under him.

I'm not sure Pop would even consider Whiteside, he tends to select players that would fit him rather than take on projects.

Players seem to trust Kerr and vice versa. He let's the Warriors play and learn while also being stern at appropriate moments. Kerr seems like the type of coach that's the best natural fit for Whiteside.

SVG and Whiteside would probably produce the best possible product. It's too bad this will never happen as SVG has Drummond, but just imagine what Whiteside could be under SVG.

Erik Spoelstra and the Heat have done just fine. He's going to be with the Heat for the foreseeable future, so pointless thread.

The answer is Spo and Jawan Howard (and Riley and Mourning to a lesser degree). Nobody would know who Whiteside is right now if he didn't end up in the Heat organization.

The Heat will pay him what he wants, but will offer an alternative contract as well that will lead to him having more support.
