a team with nothing going at pg and doesn't want to spend too much could definitely give him an opportunity. If you're a good player like conley, you're going get a max and a lot of teams don't want to pay that.

He averaged something like 18ppg in the games he started last year.

He's a bench guy and you're complaining about consistency? You don't get consistent minutes you don't put up consistent stats. Anyone who watched him saw that he had his best overall year with a slight dip in shooting due to changing his form.

Let's see how consistent anyone plays next to Harden. Look what that did to Ty Lawson. Then playing for Byron? Lol.

It's a testament to his tenacity and ability that's he's still making a positive impact. Most guys having to play with Harden and then for Byron would have probably slit their wrists afterwards.
