Because Bogut and Green are there to stop him.

Because Bogut and Green are there to stop him.

So he should be 0-0 every game because another defender is going to back up his original defender?

So he shouldn't just shoot over the midget guarding him?

He can't when he is in the paint. Which was OP. ELITE defenders are meeting him in the lane.

He's playing scared. Worrying too much about his legacy is screwing up his legacy.

He has looked completely lost so far.

This could go down as his most embarrassing Finals.

This is one of my biggest issues with Lebron's play so far. I understand the the Warriors are playing fantastic team defense, but I want to see him force the action more often.

Passing early when he has Curry or Klay or Barbosa (saw it once) guarding him in the post doesn't do much. Allow the defense to commit, then make the smart pass. Passing quickly doesn't help establish any offensive rhythm. If the defense does not commit to helping stop him, then punish them.

I know Lebron is more Magic than Michael.... but GSW are daring him to play like Michael, and he's continually playing like Magic. It's making him look scared, and bad. He needs to play like he did last year.

The differences are that the defense has more talented players to worry about, so they can't focus as heavily on helping against Lebron, and if they do, and if Lebron makes the right pass then, he has more talented teammates to (hopefully) do something positive with the ball.

But hey... what do I know. The dude is paid well for being the best player in the league, and his coaching staff is paid well to sit back and watch him, so clearly they know more than I do.

He had Curry on him a couple of times with 2 offensive fouls called on him. Steve Kerr basically was baiting him because Curry being the little guy can grab him and not get called for the foul as easily.

Yeah. Things don't always go your way. But it's about sticking to the plan. And, just like last season, the best way for Cleveland to beat the Warriors is to slow the game down and let James do his thing in the half court. If/when he gets doubled/tripled, he moves the ball. Then play smash-mouth D.

No one in the league can out-GSW the GSW. They're the best team in history at what they do, much less this season, much less in this series. Need to find your own identity, and play to that strength.

And one strength that Cleveland has over every other team in the league (except for MAYBE OKC) is that they have a superstar that's uniquely capable of imposing his will on the game. He doesn't do it as often as we would like, nor in the ways in which we would like/expect him to do so, but there are not many players that can just.... take over.... like he does.

I think Curry winning the MVP a second year in a row with a unanimous vote, while helping his team win 73 games as the defending champions, in the West, puts him over Lebron currently.

Not sure what argument there is for Lebron being better than Curry (currently speaking).

Jordan was guarded y Jon Starks and had an elite defensive front line behind him. That didn't stop MJ from doing his thing, even at the expense of his FG%.

Kobe would have Bruce Bowen in his grill, with Duncan behind him. Kobe had is way with them as well.

Ultimately, it is a mental issue with Lebron. He only throws caution to the wind when he absolutely has to (e.g., undermanned in last year's finals, down 3-2 vs. Boston).

I think that most of us sane, realistic posters can agree that winning MVP has more to do with being a great player on a great team than it does being the best player in the league.

If a team breaks the all-time wins record, it's literally a guarantee (with how the media votes) that the MVP will come from that team. Same with COY.

Not trying to take anything away from Curry; he's incredible. I just don't think he's the best basketball player in the league.

Glad to see you post Laz, I respect your opinion. I just wonder if you still think Bron is better than Bird. I know Bird had some bad games in the playoffs, but I never saw him looking as lost as Bron. I think Bron has more physical talent than Bird, but Bird was just a much more mentally stronger player. I never saw Bird quit like Bron has several times.
