Could we here at ISH possibly team up, make a list of the stats of all the top 20 players ever in terms of how they performed in the finals. So combined stats, not for each series. So for Jordan we'd combine the 6, for Russell we'd combine the 12, Kobe 7, Jordan 6, etc...
I guess first thing is making a list most people agree with?
Wilt
Jordan - 33.6/6.0/6.0 on 48/37/81 - 6 finals/6 wins
Kareem
Shaq
Bird
Magic
Duncan
Hakeem
LeBron
Kobe
Russell
Moses Malone
Karl Malone
Dwyane Wade
Dirk Nowitzki
Jerry West
Barkley
Dr J
Oscar
David Robinson
Does that cover it? I guess a few of those are debatable, but generally names that are brought up in that top 20 debate, and who have seen the finals more than once.

Maybe include the likes of Baylor, Hondo & Isiah. Also, if you're gonna include Robinson, might as well add KG as well

You can at least find PPG here

I'll do one because I'm bored....
Karl Malone: 19.5/9.6/3.3 on 45/0/67
Although I don't think it's fair counting his abysmal Lakers Finals when he had little left and was injured.
Lakers: 5.0/7.3/2.3 on 33/0/66
Jazz: 24.4/10.4/3.6 on 47/0/67
Elimination games (Jazz only; 3 games; 1-2): 30.3/9/4.6 on 57/0/65
---
And throw in Stockton because the two are inseparable: 12.3/3.2/8.7 on 54/33/81
Elimination games (3 games; 1-2): 9.6/4.3/7.3 on 46/20/80

There is a list on basketball reference with just the PPG averages, but everything else you'd have to work out... Might make a list of the points.

Bird - 23.10ppg on 45.8%
Magic - 19.42ppg on 51.6%
Duncan - 20.82ppg on 48.5%
Hakeem - 27.47ppg on 48.8%
LeBron - 26.09ppg on 44.4%
Kobe - 25.32ppg on
Russell -
Moses Malone - 23.60ppg on 44.2%
Karl Malone - 19.5/9.6/3.3 on 45/0/67
Dwyane Wade - 23.90ppg on 47.6%
Dirk Nowitzki - 24.42ppg on

Barkley -
Dr J - 25.50ppg on 52.6%
Oscar - 16.27ppg on 47.3%
David Robinson - 13.45ppg on
If any information is missing it is due to the player not meeting a certain requirement like Barkley or not being in the top 100 for that statistical category like Dirk with FG% in the finals, hence being too lazy to look it up at the moment.

Rick Barry: 36.28 ppg, 6.88 rbp, 3.98 apg
He's not top 20, but that's a nice Finals ppg average.
This is from 2010. So it doesn't include Duncan's 2013 and 2014 Finals.
I did this some time ago. These are the cumulative finals stats for Magic, Bird, MJ, Shaq, and Duncan. The bolded stats are what each player led in.
Magic- 9 Finals 51.5 fg% 19.44 ppg 7.94 rpg 11.68 apg 2.04 spg 0.3 bpg 3.8 tov
Bird- 5 Finals 45.6 fg% 23.09 ppg 11.64 rpg 6.03 apg 2.03 spg 0.77 bpg 2.9 tov
Jordan- 6 Finals 48.6 fg% 33.6 ppg 6.03 rpg 5.97 apg 1.77 spg 0.65 bpg 2.8 tov
Shaq -6 Finals 60.1 fg% 28.83 ppg 13.1 rpg 3.43 apg 0.53 spg 2.07 bpg 3.3 tov
Duncan- 4 Finals 47.20 fg% 22.68 ppg 14.4 rpg 3.36 apg 0.86 spg 3.04 bpg 3.1 tov
Edit: Found another thread from 2013. Lebron's and Duncan's stats need to be updated.

*Total Finals Averages (thanks to Wade's Rings)
Wade: 25.7/6.1/4.2/1.9/1.3 shooting 48%
Kobe: 24.7/5.6/5.1/1.4/.7 shooting 41%
The source I got those numbers from were wrong.
Wade's actual Finals stats: 23.9/5.7/4.3/1.8/1 on 48%.
I assume the stats left off the 2014 Finals.
