View Full Version : Why the hell did Love do this to himself?

Why the hell would you resign with a team that constantly disrespects you and constantly makes you the scapegoat?

Love would be very appreciated by a lot of teams for his skills and work ethic.

There's no doubt in my mind that if Bran doesn't cowardly run again, he will try to get Love moved in the off season.

And to think...I used to be a big fan of Love. :facepalm

Chris Bosh is well-versed here. Bosh warned him.

But Love isn't about winning. Great all-around skills but he loves his money and commercials. He stays relevant in the league without having to do much and entertains himself in the front seat of the 2/7 show. Not too bad actually.

Jerry West said he'd rather quit than trade for Kevin Love.

That tells you all you need to know about Love. He's a sorry, soft piece of crap.

Love won 40 games in a bloodbath west with a horrid cast and some of the greatest advanced impact numbers in the game in his last season there.

To his credit, Bosh rose to the challenge and became invaluable to those Miami teams.

Kevin Love is no Chris Bosh.

Chris Bosh wasn't as sensitive as Love can be. Bosh just wanted to win. Love is very big on his brand.

The issue is Lebron, Irving, and Love are all about their brand. Only works if you can balance the 2.

Pekovic, Martin, and brewer were very solid players.

Rubio averaged 10/9 with more than 2 steals a game.

Martin scored 20 a game. Pekovic was an 18/9 player.

Not a "horrid" cast at all. If Kevin Love was a true superstar that team would have been better.

Pretty much. Facts are facts. He had a shot as the #1 guy and his teams weren't very good.

He's right where he should be if he wants to win, 3rd option. No team with Kevin Love as its best player will win shite.

Andre Igoudala was a #1 guy in Philly. They weren't very good. Now he's on GS as a bench/role player and he's great because he learned how to play a role. Either you've got the goods or you don't. If you've got the goods you win as a #1 option. Some are just better served to be role players.

Love should have known what he was getting into. You can't go from being a 1st option to a 3rd option and play the same way. You have to alter your game, and from what I can see, Love really hasn't done that. Bosh made it work because he was a great team defender and elite an PnR defender. He also made a huge sacrifice by switching to center, something he was not comfortable with. I don't think Love is versatile enough to be effective outside of his comfort zone.

I mean...brewer was traded and Rubio, Martin, and Pekovic all missed more than half of the season with injuries.

But in all seriousness, what makes love's supporting cast in 2013-2014 worse than Lebrons in 2008-2009, when the Cavs won 66 games? Seriously.

You make like 10 idiotic threads a day...it's impossible to avoid your stupidity. You come on this board and whine about AN ATHLETE...A ****ING BASKETBALL PLAYER like your life depends on whether he fails or succeeds. Is it really that serious, bro? Stop living vicariously through a basketball player and get off your fat ass and do something with your life.

I've literally never made anywhere near that amount of threads in a day.

You are more obsessed with me than I am with any NBA player, and i'm a self admitted loser...let that sink in. :lol

Your self worth is determined by whether or not I reply to you, which 99% of the time I don't.

Here's a couple of pity replies...I hope it makes your life more bearable for the moment.

What have they done since Love left? Not much.

FYI Pek and KMart missed a combined 42 games that year. It isn't like they had quality backups behind them either.

True.

But Pek hasn't been remotely healthy since. Neither has Martin. Rubio missed 3/4s of the 2014-2015 season. Etc
