Another Finals where he isn't even playing to his averages, yet his team is still completely in it.

And these koolaid sipping shmucks after ONE regular season have the audacity to say he's a greater offensive player than the GOAT?!

Children, please.

It's a learning process for these youngsters. Curry has been reduced to a role player in these finals because of the increased physicality. Hand checking allowed on him? :oldlol:

This is why you wait until the entire season unfolds before you crown players.

Curry admittedly had one of the best offensive regular seasons ever but you have to wait and see how he responds in certain situations against certain teams on certain STAGES before you give him the title as significant as the greatest offensive player of all time.

Bingo

And cosign Young X

Playoffs are more tightly defended, with increased physicality. Much more difficult to score. Then throw in the bright lights, and intensity of each elevated pressure as you continue through the rounds.

MJ would average 30+ against these Cavs easy.

Jordan's career low in the Finals was 22. Curry's scored less than that 3 games in a row

He'd average that or more against the Warriors too. Especially if pissed or needing to carry more of a scoring load to beat them. IE vs '93 Suns.

He'd put up close to 40 a game in this league. If guys like Westbrook and Lebron get mid to highs 20's, with no jumpers?

And Mike got to the basket and finished as well or better. While actually being able to torch from mid range or hit the open three? Hah

 Downplay MJ's greatness at your own peril.

I've never heard someone say something more retarded. Hell, even the comments from hi, and tpols saying Curry > Kobe were just as hideously dumb. It's basketball IQ blasphemy to anyone with a brain who saw all three players.

:biggums: Ya think? He averaged 33.4 ppg in 179 playoff games and 33.6 ppg in 35 finals games when the rules were much tougher for perimeter players. He would at worst average 35 ppg and regularly top 40+ games in this era literally CATERED for perimeter players. Can't imagine MJ attacking the basket when the tallest guy on the court is 6'8".

He can be looked like unstoppable in the meaningless regular season but Curry couldn't rise or even maintain his game in the entire playoff where the real defense being played. lol at his stan comparing him to MJ, not even kobe.

He's doing fine, it's not like he's jackin up contested shots like an idiot.

His production is on an all-time low though (for a player his caliber)

He doesn't need to step up BIGTIME, just produce and contribute when necessary.
