I'm watching ESPN right now and Tim Legler made a great point. He stated that Curry isn't dribbling the ball up the court, after dead balls, in transition as much as he had all year vs Cleveland and it allows the Cavs to easily deny him the ball. When Curry dribbles up the court he's a threat when he walks past half court and opens up a lot more offense. Is this schematical and should we be looking to Steve Kerr to make an adjustment?

Yeah I agree with Tim Legler. It is not just now though, same thing in the OKC series. Curry is playing off the ball way too much. Gotta get the ball in his hands, open up the court and get em one on one when back peddling.

hes playing on a knee that is at less than 50%, Kerr knows Curry just needs to be on the floor to be the greatest player in the world. Its a deliberate effort to reduce the workload whilst receiving the benefits of having 3 defenders on one guy, leaving the rest of the team open. This kind of defensive attention is simply unheard of.

Maybe, but running him through all those screens and double denial coverage is not doing him any favors. He is getting beat the f()ck up and having little impact atm. Cavs can get caught up paying to much attention to Curry or being burnt being to 'Curry conscious', but there was no problem with that tonight.

Get the ball in the boys hands even if he is not 100%. If there was a chance he would worsen his possible injury, he wouldn't be playing. Steph Curry at 50% is better than most players.

No - the Finals are more physical than the regular season in ANY era, which is why Curry is struggling.

This proves that Curry would be a worse player in previous eras, when basketball was far more physical than it is today.

In previous eras, Curry wouldn't have teammates spacing the floor for him, so defenders would be in much closer proximity to each other, which facilitates higher physicality and congestion.
