16 ppg on 43% shooting, 4.3 assists with 5 turnovers per game in the Finals in your PRIME as a MVP

ain't even scored 20 in the first 3 games of the Finals, even Livingston got a 20 point game

Bron and Kyrie both just dropped 30+

even Reggie Miller age 34 vs Lakers had a better series than Curry, he got two 30+ point games in the Finals in 6 games Curry only did that once over 9 :oldlol:

He just doesn't have many ways to dominate a game if his shot isn't hitting/being well defended

He can't be a gamechanger defensively, and he can't crash the boards and make an impact there. Also with his offense, he's versatile as a shooter, in how they use him... But outside of that, he doesn't really have a great inside the arc game.. He can't call for the ball in the post, which is what guys like Kobe/LeBron/MJ do.

His whole game is so reliant on his shooting, that if the shot is not up to standard, every other aspect of his game is exposed in a sense. Must be noted, he's the GOAT shooter, so he's extremely hard to keep down.

Dude is injured.

what the fukk :facepalm

Kobe was playing on one leg and with his fingers broken and there were no excuses.

If you didn't show up I don't want to hear about your health issues because every great has dealt with injuries in the Playoffs and they still showed up because they wanted to win more than they wanted to rest. Kobe got injured, first game back from injury takes over in OT after playing 40 minutes on one leg, seals his team the Finals series with a 3 - 1 lead.

Curry did essentially the same thing in the 2nd round.

way to overreact dummy.. curry definitely laid an egg, so did the whole team. Go check draygod and klays performances. Just a massive lack of energy from the whole team.

His 36' push shoots weren't falling... He needs a PG post game , like Cassell.

He is a NASH style MVP of the league , called flash in the pan player / HOF material.
Definitely not in MJ's league...

How many MVP's did Kobe win :confusedshrug:

Now put Curry against Kobe one on one :oldlol:

Kobe would destroy green eyes

Curry did essentially the same thing in the 2nd round.

2nd round

against a 40 win team that wasn't given a chance to win even with Curry injured, a team that was projected to be one of the bottom 3 teams in the Conference as it lost 4 of it's starters :oldlol:

Kobe got injured and his team lost the game he was out and they were facing OT on the road with Shaq fouled out, Pacers were in position to go up 3 - 2 in the series

vs Curry shooting like crap all game and then getting hot from 3 in the end when the game should have been over in the 4th. Warriors were up 2 - 1 on the series without Curry, Warriors had won 5 out of 7 with Curry not playing at all.

Not the same thing.

MVP is not an award that should be taken seriously in the modern era

Shaq and Kobe combine for TWO MVP awards, Nash and Curry got 4 :kobe: :kobe: :kobe:

Kobe would destroy Curry 1 v 1. Kobe will score over him in the post or just blow by him every time while Curry won't even get a shot off because you're allowed to touch your defender in a 1 on 1 game.

You are right, not the same thing. Kobe's injury was much more minor and only required sitting out 1 game. Curry came back from 1 injury, got a much more severe injury, and had to sit out a couple of weeks before returning.

No it wasn't. Kobe's injury was more severe, are you kidding me? He couldn't even walk off the court on his own without collapsing due to the severity of the sprain. Curry on the other hand jogged off the court to the locker room.

Curry tweaked his knee and "sprained" his MCL, which in real life takes 1 week max to recover from. Kobe's ankle ballooned up and he could barely put weight on it even when he came back as he didn't have the luxury to rest more than 1 game in a Finals series.

there is no one in the history of the game that plays thru injuries like kobe did. it's unfair to compare anyone to him in that regard

Okay, but Kobe scored like 26 pts, which really is pretty ordinary.. for Kobe though, it stands out... anyone else? Not really.

Curry scored 40, lol.
