Worst stinkers but like greatest quarters. Averaging 24 in the playoffs on 44/43/85

Playing with a lot more heart than Curry. At least he looks like he wants to be out there.

Honestly, i've always considered him overrated. He's a great shooter, but is pretty one-dimensional, and would struggle far more often without Steph Curry and an exceptionally balanced team around him. He's only a slightly above average defender (not great by any means), and you can take him out of the game completely if you frustrate him early/ don't give him the early shots that get him going, as Cleveland has now shown 2 years in a row.

Honestly you might be right.

If both klay and steph had stayed home the Warriors would be even more dominant.

Dude is such a black hole and has zero clue as to how to facilitate for others.

And he hates passing to Curry.

CAVS actually were doubling him and he didn't know how to make the right reads like Curry can. Double Klay enough and it throws him off unless he goes nuclear from 3.

Barnes came alive though. But it feels like Golden State gets a great game from Barnes and it usually results in a loss.

Klay just pisses me off with his black hole shoot at all costs play.

Then he dribbles himself right into the double and has no clue how to react.

If he isn't hitting his three, he becomes so easy to guard.

And he obviously hates all the glory Curry gets.

Or 41 in a do-or-die playoff game in which Chokurry was a bystander for for 3 1/2 quarters.

Klay has been playing bad lately but he has still brought a lot more to the table than Steph. When you shutdown curry he brings nothing

Curry is averaging more points, rebounds, assists, has a better FG%, 3pt%, and FT%.

Klay is literally doing nothing better than Curry and if Klay isn't hitting his shots, HE is the one that brings NOTHING.

Curry still facilitates, draws doubles near mid court, rebounds, etc.

Except...Klay plays DEFENSE.

Glass has been a complete WASTE on almost EVERY defensive possession. He occasionally stumbles into a steal because he is not defending anyone. It's called "the Curry zone."

BTW, Klay will PLAY hurt. Had Glass sustained the same injury that Klay fought thru last night...he would have missed the rest of the Finals.

Klay's defense is vastly overrated and Curry's is vastly underrated.

But you know that.

There is a reason that Klay gets the toughest defensive assignments, ...and why Kerr scrambles to find the weakest link to put Chokurry on. Hell Roberson was abusing Glass in the last series.

And YOU know it.

Yeah for some reason he sucks in the Finals. Dude was instrumental in the comeback against OKC, dropping 41 and single handedly keeping his team close with 3 after 3. I don't get him, he has JR on him or TT helping after a screen and putting up bricks :wtf: I really don't get him. He is a prime time player, he proved it in every series in the West.

it sounds crazy, but I think the whole team just came out flat and wasnt trying last night. film room showed that the Cavs were not switching in game 3, but instead fighting through everything, as violently as they could. And it worked, because the warriors came out soft, like they were just going to continue to out execute them. Cavs just broke through that shit like a glass wall, and were much more physical.

Klay got good looks, and will hit when adversity truly strikes imo. Cant see him not doing it after last series. In a interview i saw he basically guaranteed it for either game 4 or game 5. Lets see what he can do, this is a nice jinx thread.

Why all the hate?

If not for his absolutely insane shooting against OKC in game 6, GSW doesn't sniff the Finals this year. But people forget that quickly it seems, funny enough if Lebron was saved in such a fashion facing elimination we would be reminded 24/7 about it.

Not only that, but he sustained a quad contusion in the last game. And came back in a few minutes later.

That same injury would have finished Mild Knee Bruise Curry for the rest of the Finals.

Curry...

And then Glass for the next few weeks...

Yes, but he is more often AWOL than he is dong the above. You don't give the guy space from the start of the game to the finish and he can't do shit. Even in that clip, you can see, OKC gave him a chance of catching fire by giving him 2 wide open 3 pointers to start (3 of first 4 were wide open). It's only after he's made a few that he starts making the tough jumpers, and then becomes unstoppable. Can't let him get going.

I remember the game Miami should've one against GSW during the season, Thompson was awful for most of the game, as he wasn't getting any room. Then Gerald Green came in, lost him on a couple of screens, bang, bang, and then he was draining stuff from all over. He can be quite easily neutralised.
