Moving Lebron at the 4 let him breathe. I'm surprised not many talk about that.

Iggy was clamping him out on the perimeter. Moving Bron to the 4 had him matched up with Green. Green lit Love up but hesitated here n there when matched up with James.

Love can't start the whole game with these match ups.

I predict Kerr will counter and move Iggy to the 4 which still benefits Lebron inside. That means Green would move to the 5 and that's where Tristan or Love can play in stretches.

I love the chess match coaches have.

Great adjustments from Coach Lue. He is much better than anyone gave him credit for.

Iggy is going to start next game so hopefully Lebron is enjoying his moment.

Lue was more forced into this adjustment - luckily so.

Iggy basically played 4 minutes into the first quarter.

Kerr will try and put Iggy at the 4 but that means Lebron is closer to the basket where he has more confidence scoring. There were a few times Iggy was inside and he had more difficulty than on the perimeter.

I think if Karl Malone came up in today's game, he'd play a lot like this.. Not sure he'd be a better player than he was.

Maybe he'd still win the regular season MVP over Jordan and Duncan like Karl did in 1997 and 1999 (but still got beat by Duncan in the playoffs just like Lebron, and a poor Finals record against Jordan).

Malone didn't have Lebron's vision and passing ability though

If Malone was a PERIMETER player with his same physique, he'd be like Lebron - it's possible he would develop a game where he gets 6-7 APG by pounding the rock forever and having a high time of possession like Lebron:

Lebron is one of only TWO non-point-guards in the top 50 for time of possession, and his time of possession was an insane 12.0 minutes (http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/possessions/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4&sort=TIME_OF_POSS&dir=1) per game in 2015 Finals, or 50% higher than the RS leader John Wall's 8.2 minutes (http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/possessions/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=TIME_OF_POSS&dir=1)..

But regardless, his offensive repertoire would look like that gif, and I'm not sure that's better than the big man Malone.. Again, maybe he'd still win the regular season MVP over Jordan and Duncan like Karl did in 1997 and 1999 (but still got beat by Duncan in the playoffs just like Lebron, and a poor Finals record against Jordan).

Btw Shawk, Malone was a far better MIDRANGE shooter than Lebron - Malone shot 45.2% in 1997 from midrange:

Whereas Lebron shot below 40% for 10 of 13 seasons (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12389794&postcount=17)..

Most famous Jordan play is a push off.

It wasn't, because no one's forearm is that strong to push off a human being the way Jordan did - do that motion with your own arm - see?... there's no way anyone's forearm is strong enough to push off in that fashion and make Russell go flying and fall down.

Jordan rarely used his off-arm to push off his defender, whereas Lebron does it on most of his drives.

Kerr could easily make Iggy switch to Bron and put Green on Jefferson.

The # of assists Lebron gets doesn't have everything to do with his vision and ability as a passer. Yea, the assists will come naturally if you're naturally good at passing, but they aren't the same thing.

He makes passes in transition and off of rebounds that show you that his skills as a passer go far beyond pounding the rock and throwing bailouts to shooters.

He did better against Iggy because he was 5-9 on jumpers. Simple. Opens everything else up for him.
