View Full Version : How many times have you been dumped by a girl and how did you react?

I've had what I consider 4 serious girlfriends, although i'm sure I meant nothing to them.
Anyhow, they all dumped me.
The first girl said this before the last time we had sex..."Are you finally going to make me feel like a woman?"
The second girl told me..."I wish you were thicker."
I was baker acted for suicidal thoughts/tendencies/cutting after the first three dumped me. I went on some serious psychiatric drugs after the 4th one dumped me and just slept all day for months.
My Dad died when I was 7 and my Mom was an alcoholic, so I never had self-esteem built inside of me by a loving and nurturing family. The only thing that made me feel better was having a girlfriend and attempting to make her happy, even though I could never really make any woman happy.
I was cheated on once...
Shrug your shoulders and move on.
If you were dumped, what's to wonder? It didn't work out, the end, case closed. The girl that cheated was more upset than I was because, what's to be upset about? You've got your answer to the question 'is she the one'. She's not.
The end.

All of them. However I've always had a problem with checking out early in the relationship and not having the heart to brake it off. So the break ups were all mutual. I'm friends with all my exes though.

Once. I was 21 or 22. Handled it rather poorly, sulked and bitched about it for a good while, sprouted some fallopian tubes for about 5 months. But after that I've been pretty good about getting rejected. It happens, I'm a big boy now
I was dumped a second time but that was all by design. I couldn't break up with her because my dog knew her and was friendly with her. She was a crazy one. I thought she would steal my dog (or worse) had I ended it. So I did the responsible thing, treated her like shit until she had enough and left on her own after telling me how much better she was than me, and how I would regret it. I miss the sex, but everything else was peachy
It was funny because she told me how shitty the sex was to my face, that stung a little. But her friend is also my friend, and she told me she missed the sex too. Score one for the home team

The whole "dumping" thing looks good on paper for the women and protects their ego.
Breakups have always given me a lift. A huge feeling of rejuvenation. You also become more devoted to yourself.

If a woman dumps you, she cheated and is just moving on to the next guy.
So of course I was cheated on. :lol
You obviously have a better self esteem than me instilled in you by a loving family.

I could never be friends with the whores that dumped me. I'd have to have sex with them in order to be around them.
I'm surprised your wife is cool with you being friends with ex girlfriends.

By my single father who used to beat me whenever I questioned his authority? Not only did he throw me into the kitchen cabinets once, but then I had to work to pay to have them fixed.
You got cheated on. Big deal. Why sulk over it when she's clearly made her choice? Think of it as 'obviously she didn't care that much', chalk it up as a loss, and move on.
Why be depressed over a girl who doesn't care about you? I don't get it.
Also, I am friends with all my exes as well. If you take the mature road and just say '**** it', you'll be friends later down the road.

Your Dad turned you into a man and you don't appreciate it.
I would never want to be friends with a girl that rejected me...she's kindly saying she's too good for you and you can't make her happy. Why would I want to be around someone that thinks that?

My ex cheated on me and broke up with me. I drove to her house and raped her. Haven't spoken to her since.

No, that's where you're wrong.
I absolutely appreciate it. Given the area I grew up, my family situation, my father's educational attainment (or lack thereof), and my educational attainment (or lack thereof), I've beaten the odds by a mile.
I grew up right..... there, surrounded by a several of the poorest counties in the country. Where the X is. Lived there for the first 12 years or so of my life. It's rare that anyone ever leaves there.

You sound like a sensitive little shit because your Dad deservedly roughed you up a little.
I NEVER got a spanking as a kid and look at me now...then look at you, obviously more successful than me.

If done properly and at the correct time, yes they do.
The Bible says not to spare your child of punishment or they'll spoil.
Look at me...never spanked...rarely punished...and the biggest loser on ISH.

i'd say spankings ****ed me up much more than they helped. i was always a good kid.

i'm no expert, but i've come across some really entitled brats. they would probably be less likely to act entitled if their parents stopped caving in and spanked them once in a while.

So the two people that got physical punishment are saying they don't work...yet they're way more successful than me, someone who didn't get punished.
WTF kind of logic is that, dude?

ISH will always love you, Pencil Dick Dancy.
But we want what's best for you, and that's why in the NBA Forum we have to give you verbal beat downs when you step out of line and dont recognize Bron's greatness/thickness. It's simply for your own good.
You'll learn eventually and thank us later

first time it happened. i wouldnt say it broke me but i was hurt for awhile.....i didnt think a girl could make me feel so down about myself. initially, i thought everything would be all good. then it got to the point where just being in the same area as her made me incredibly depressed and uncomfortable. i thought she was the one and that i was in love. then i found someone else a couple of weeks later and everything was all good. sometimes, it's hard to separate true love from infatuation

I agree with that. Yeah my father went a little overboard at times, but looking back, I can honestly say he was doing it for my benefit.

wow you sound like my doppelganger, atleast emotionally. try meditation. my ability to "feel" in general becomes more expressive if i consistently do it

Usually I just felt relieved. I'm glad they told me when they did, so I didn't have to waste anymore of my time with someone who didn't want to be with me.

I'm too loyal, so I've always overstayed and ended up getting dumped. Only twice though. The first time I took it really hard and never really looked at women the same. I love to #### em but I grew a bit of hate towards them. It was a bad experience with that first serious girlfriend..it changed the way I looked at things really. I love my wife though, she's really sweet and her intentions are always good..unlike many bitches I met in the past. When I was in college I got a blow job by this muslim pakistani chick that was studying to be a doctor..it bothered me a little when she want to take to stop seeing me due to her religion. She was a smart chick and had long legs. I will say she sucked a #ick like a beast.

It was awful. Especially when I remebered that I've never had a girlfriend.

Lol I'm not sure meditation will make me more emotionally open.
If I'm stressed (which is rare), I go chop wood or something. There's always yard work that needs to be done.
It's just that I've adopted the attitude of 'it is what it is'. You can't change it, so don't stress it. You can pout all you want but the earth will keep spinning and life will go on and the longer you cry about it, the father you'll fall behind.
Suck it up and learn from it type thing.

I've had someone try to get pregnant on purpose, lying about taking her birth control. That would be my worst nightmare. Since then, single with flings is the way to go for me. I like being single. Before that happened, I was rejected by a punker chick I really liked. It hurts until you find someone else to pursue. I'm not big on marriage, so it's not super important to me to have a girlfriend. They usually want to end up getting married at some point. Why? So she can take half my shit when she wants a divorce down the line? **** that noise.
