At least. People even have him in the top three.

A past his prime LeBron doing all he can to beat the greatest team in NBA history.

That's amazing in itself. The stats he's putting up. The defense. The effort. The leadership. The aggression. Passion. Amazing to watch. He looks locked in.

The rest of the team looks clueless. They don't have what it takes.

He lost as the underdog, once again. He lost to the better team. Doesn't hurt his legacy one bit, imo.

Bron fans have the same mentality as their hero. They are content. Real winners want more and want to crush you any chance they have. Kyrie has that look. He wanted it. Bron checked out mentally. It's just sad to be honest. A guy with more physical gifts than anyone not trying to destroy the opposition. What a true beta indeed.

It's impossible to accurately compare Lebron to previous players because of his collusion, which taints his accolades.

How many players would go 2/4 if they teamed up with 2 other guys who were top 5 in PER?

How would Hakeem do if he teamed up with Drexler and Kemp?.. How would Isiah do if he teamed up with McHale and Bird?.. How would Karl Malone do if he teamed up with Grant Hill and Ewing?... There must be 100 or more players who could do better than 2/4.

Certainly, a player on the Magic/Bird/MJ level would do much better than 2/4 or 2/7... Otoh, a Karl Malone-level player would go 2/4 or 2/7, which is what Lebron IS

agreed. he has nothing to be ashamed over.

idiots will be idiots, but for a guy who i don't particularly like too much, he's an amazing player who certainly belongs in the GOAT discussion.

i also agree with this.

he's definitely tarnished his legacy by wanting to be the GM, etc.

OTOH that also kind of works in his favor, because he's a pretty lousy GM. he's helped himself get immediate results while making the overall job harder for himself.
