I don't know about fully closed but yeah it's getting there. He will be 32 next season with a lot of mileage.

Maybe if everything goes right for them they can win
*one* with him on that team, but the idea of a Cleveland dynasty with several titles ... say good night to that.

That train has pulled out and is leaving the station.

It closed when they were down 6 and Barnes drained that 3.

That was the EXACT moment it closed this year and forever.

I think its still open

Surely the 3rd greatest player of all time can recruit some notable free agents to Cleveland

Kings will lend him Cousins.

This. He just needs more help. If Cousins, Durant, CP3, and Wade join up they can still win a title in Cleveland.

Not if they do the obvious right thing and trade for his buddy Chris Paul.

The objective is to win right now so age won't be a big factor.

You get a much better facilitator who will make Love a bigger threat, a better defender and you don't lose much scoring wise.

His window on another team may be open. Depends on what team he potentially jumps to.

But the window for 2/8 is still open.

If nobody goes to the East, it will be 2/8 and maybe 2/9 for sure. If that happens, holy hell dude :oldlol: What a finals record

It's getting really close. I think he might have one Finals appearance, maybe two max left in him. This is only because the East has been historically weak the last 5 or so years.

unless there is an earth quake and Clevelands tectonic plate has shifted to the west coast, im pretty sure LBJ will be in another 4-5 finals.

If Cleveland can somehow win game 5, i think this series will go to game 7 with Cleveland having all the momentum.

This is not happening. Cleveland are outmatched.

This is not happening. Cleveland are outmatched.

Curry to pick up 2 cheap fouls in the opening tip off, Klay to get a dead leg by a random roleplayer and Kyrie to go off for 20 in a quarter. All of that at the GSW stadium too.

As long as Warriors don't win west every year, Cavs still have chance.

Anything's possible. Most said the Warriors were done after falling down 3-1 two weeks ago. No one thought Phoenix could win game 5 at Chicago in 93. No one thought Utah would take game 5 in Chicago in 98, either. And no one thought Portland would win game 5 against the Lakers in 2000. All were down 3-1 and all won game 5 on the road.

Chicago needed a clutch three by Pax to avoid Game 7. The 98 Bulls needed MJ's steal and shot to prevent game 7. Portland actually pushed the 2000 Lakers to game 7 and had a 15 point lead going into the 4th quarter.

Cleveland can win game 5 and they wouldn't need a miracle.

My advice to Lebron and Durant is to stay put. The Warriors will have some cap issues and Barnes, Festus Ezeli are free agents with Bogut and Shaun Livingston being FA in 2017. The Thunder should be the favorites in the west next season.

Well the Warriors kept that door cracked open and LeBron kicked the shit down. I still feel the same way about what I said, I think he can still get to the Finals 1 or even 2 more times.

Only 1 or 2 more times?

Why?

He's only 31...

He's by far the best player in his conference and has by far the most help in his conference. And his help is likely to only get better as time goes with Kyrie developing into a first all nba type player.

Doesn't matter if he's 31, he's played 13 years in the league. Next year will be his 14th. And I just think other teams will eventually get better in the East.

it's almost too good to be true-- if the warriors win next year, everyone not on the bandwagon will be upset that they took the coward's route. and if they don't win, they'll be the laughingstock of the league.
