Damn so many threads about Lebron on here! Saying he chokes because he loses to a 73-win team?

The Warriors are supposed to win this year, they had the most wins EVER.

Imagine if Lebron was on a 73 win team playing against a 57 win team in the finals. He would obviously be expected to win and be the favorite, so why are all these posters expecting him to win against the Warriors like he and the Cavs are favorites?

Legends are made when you are the best at your craft. Even though the Warriors are the best team in the league...Cavs came together and played unbelievable team basketball the last month and a half with a top player motivated to stamp his mark on the game.

Trolls on this board all KNOW that Lebron is a top player and had a very legit chance of winning this series IF he went MJ mode and just attacked the basket relentlessly every game. But he has not done that and has shriveled on the biggest stage once again, never willing to take over and drop 40 or whatever it takes.

That is why this board is crapping on Lebron.

The reality is this...

the Warriors are clearly a 60+ win team...withOUT Chokurry.

They have gone 7-1 in the games in which GAC has missed in this post-season (again, even the NBA acknowledged that GS won game three against Houston.) Furthermore, they are not only 9-4 in the games in which he has played, but Bruised Knee has been awful in all four of those defeats. And a bystander in two of their Finals wins. And, without Klay's BRILLIANT game six of the WCF's, (a game in which Glass was waving the white flag until Klay single-handedly brought them back)...he would be watching the Thunder win this Finals.

He's also outscored Chokurry in those two games as well.

And has feasted on Sieve Curry when GAC has "defended" him.

And still Lebron is down 3-1!

That really shows you the grade A loser he is, not even with his sidekick shitting on the other team two best players Lebron is able to win.

Unparalleled, unheard of, Lebron has definitively taken wilt loser mantle.
Jesus Christ, Lebron's sidekick outplaying the other team two best players, and Lebron still manages to lose to a team led by chokurry, glass, bruised knee.

How pathetic is that. LEbron just stole the loser\chocker mantle from wilt right before our eyes.

Bron got all the help a top 20 GOAT could get .. elite defense, tristan thompson looking like dennis rodman, kyrie going for efficient 30+ .. and the guy couldnt do anything to close the game. But it all comes down to the jumper. Lebron has NO jumper at all, and when the moment is tight, he really doesnt have a jumper. Saw him complaining in the post game about lack of calls. Mfer, you charge up and sprint at defenders that are sagging 8 feet off you, hit them as they stay in front, and then expect to get calls like that? gtfo

Warriors are a great team, when they step up their game or 'turn it on' there is no beating them by any other team in the league. OKC came close but that was the Warriors' moment of adversity, and they climbed out of it barely. It was like when the Lakers beat the Kings in game 7, there was no way lil ole Nets would put up much of a fight. Obviously Cleveland put up a better fight than them, but they still stood little chance.

Curry is the greatest Warrior of all time and that includes Wilt.

He's not even #3.

Wilt, and by a HUGE margin at #1.

And then Barry, with his two Finals of 40.8 ppg and 29.5 ppg, including a dominating FMVP.

get back to me when Chokurry puts up a career playoff average of 35 ppg (as well as 26 rpg); or series of 37 ppg, 37 ppg, 39 ppg, and 39 ppg. Or a Finals of 29 ppg 28 rpg, and just slaughtering a player like Russell in doing so. Or playoff games of 41, 42, 50, 50, 53, and 56 points.

Or carrying what was basically a last place roster to a seven game series, two point loss against the champion 60-20 Celtics, in a series in which Chamberlain averaged 34 ppg and 27 rpg.

As for CAREERS...

Was it supposed to be this easy though?

Lebron plays on a team with the highest payroll in the league next to 3 other max contract players.

He steamrolled through the playoffs.

It's not as though he isn't playing next to talented teammates.

Meltdown?

Why, because Chokurry has played well in ONE game of the Finals, was awful in a loss, and was a bystander in two of their wins?

Or that his TEAMMATES have gone 7-1 in the games that he missed, and in the 13 he has played in, he has been awful in HALF of those?

MJ mode doesn't necessarily mean attacking the basket at will. In terms of how the Warriors are playing Lebron, this is what is needed:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoVMIZWS_-A

Or a version without so many 3's:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36YZvyvPL0I

Lebron can't control the game offensively from the mid-range area, and that's pretty much what he'd need to do against the Warriors, not barreling and stiff-arming his way to the rim.

Yep...

Wilt actually played in 37 "elimination games",...games where either his team faced elimination, or could have clinched the series:

1. W: 53-22-2, 24-42 FG/FGA

2. W: 50-35-2, 22-42

3. L: 26-24-0, 8-18

4. L: 33-23-1, 13-29

5. W: 56-35-1, 22-48

6. W: 32-21-1, 12-29

7. L: 22-22-3, 7-15

8. W: 39-30-?, 19-29

9. L: 30-27-2, 12-28

10. W: 38-26-5, 14-22, 10 blks (Triple-Double)

11. W: 30-26-4, 13-22, 13 blks (Triple-Double)

12. L: 30-32-2, 12-15

13. L: 46-34-?, 19-34

14. W: 18-27-9, 7-14

15. W: 29-36-13, 10-16, 7 blks (Triple-Double)

16. W: 24-23-4, 8-13

17. W: 25-27-3, 10-19

18. L: 28-30-7, 11-21

19. L: 20-27-8, 6-21

20. L: 14-34-5, 4-9

21. W: 11-25-1, 5-9

22. W: 16-29-3, 5-11, 16 blks (Triple-Double)

23. L: 8-18-4, 1-5

24. L: 18-27-3, 7-8

25. W: 36-14-3, 12-20

26. W: 12-26-11, 4-11, 11 blks (Quad-Double)

27. W: 30-27-6, 11-18, 11 blks (Triple-Double)

28. W: 45-27-3, 20-27

29. L: 21-24-4, 10-16

30. W: 25-19-9, 7-12

31. L: 23-12-4, 10-21

32. W: 8-31-8, 4-6

33. W: 20-24-2, 8-12, 10 blks (Triple-Double)

34. W: 24-29-4, 10-14, 8 blks

35. W: 21-28-4, 10-17, 8 blks

36. W: 5-22-7, 2-2

37. L: 23-21-3, 9-16

W-L : 24-13

Here were Wilt's averages in those 37 games:

29.5 ppg

26.1 rpg

4.2 apg (missing one game)

.546 FG% (in post-seasons that shot about .440 on average in that span.)

Keep in mind that 24 of those 37 games came after his "scoring seasons" (59-60 thru 65-66)

Wilt's game 6 and 7 in 1968: 17.0 PPG, 38% FT (7.0/18.5)
Wilt's game 6 and 7 in 1969: 13.0 PPG, 44% FT (5.0/11.5)

Wilt Lost both series btw while Curry is on his way to win a title and you are over here giving Curry a tough time. Gold.:oldlol:

Wilt in the '68 EDF's...22-25-7.

All while playing every minute of that seven game series with a tear in his calf.

Wilt in game seven of the '69 Finals...

18 pts, on 7-8 from the floor (and a game-leading .621 TS%) with 27 rebounds, and 10 blocks.

BTW, his HOF counter-part Russell? 6 pts on 2-7 shooting (and a .333 TS%) with 21 rebounds.

Losing is one thing.
The way you lose is another.

If LeBron had played G4 the way he did in 2015 Finals, he wouldn't have been called choke etc.

LeBron played great in 2015.
Irving played great in G3 and G4.

But LeBron in 2016 Finals didn't.
