Smith has hated lebron for a while now this is no surprise. I'm shocked at Reggie's comments though. Always thought he was the sensible type.

:biggums: SAS is a Bran stan. He was rooting for him to win the series. He is just being objective.

Reggie's comments are completely illogical. Lebron wa rightfully assessed a tech because he wasn't trying to injure or even touch green. He was just trying to taunt him. And didn't he get a flagrant 2 for the Adams nuts kicks? He received a flagrant foul for both situations so it's not like the nba is picking and choosing at all. Reggie has lost his damn mind.

A flagrant one and LeNeedsMoreHelp was the instigator. The NBA is a joke. :whatever:

Everyone hates a colluding, stiff arming, flopping bitch that can't shoot a jump shot or make a post move.

Draymond should have been suspended in the OKC series, and he should be suspended here based on the fact he didn't get suspended at OKC.

What are people mad about? He took a swing.

Flawed logic. Retroactively punishing somebody is a horrible way of enforcing rules. I guess you also love makeup calls and you scold your dog a day after he shits on the carpet. Because that makes sure they know they did something wrong.

That retard is a fan of no one. Hedges every single one of his picks like "I think team A is gonna win but I will pick team B".

The saddest part?

Dray may be sitting the title clinching game and he may not be allowed to be in the building.

The NBA/Bran is a joke.

But we're masochistic and we keep watching, knowing we're being duped.

The NBA brought this on itself. Draymond should've been suspended last series for something FAR more blatant and egregious than his hit on Lebron.

Was Stephen A. Smiff this mad when the Draymond got away with his shit last series?

The one thing I'm sure we can all agree upon...

Whenever there is a controversial event, game, play, etc., the world should turn to Stephen A. Smith and Reggie Miller for cogent, unbiased, intelligent analysis of the situations. The torch of unquestioned journalistic integrity was clearly passed from Edward R. Murrow to Walter Cronkite now sits in the more than capable hands of Smith and Miller.

I hope there comes a day when these two pillars of the Fourth Estate can bring light to those poor folk in the dark, not following Smith's always understated lead. In an age of bombast, hyperbole and "hot takes" gaining the headlines and the most attention, Smith -- in particular -- relies on doing the news in a more noble, unemotional way.

Unfortunately, especially in sports media, with people responding more to who is the "loudest" and not asking themselves who they should trust, Smith and Miller find themselves in a difficult place. Should they continue to maintain their unparalleled level of journalistic integrity or join the churning, deafening media machine just so they can be heard by the hoards of people who know nothing of nuance, which Smith and Miller strive to deliver every time?

It's the age-old question, I guess, for all masters of their craft and unwavering truth-seekers. Continue to quietly assess from a distance with pin-point accuracy but the emotional restraint of any great journalist ... or join the fray and fight and yell to get your point across. I'd hate to see Smith stoop to those levels, but it might be necessary.

One way or the other, at least for those of us who are plugged in and know the antagonists from the truth-tellers, Smith and Miller's opinions should be echoed by everyone here. Hopefully the league office takes that into consideration the next time they attempt to derail a series by coddling whoever the Warriors happen to be playing. It's amazing how they always end up getting the short end of the stick.

A god damn travesty.

I think you see skip Bayless say Cleveland wins based off the warriors emotion.

They have talked a lot and if they aim for the kill shot too quick it can possibly bite them

Meltdown? Lol

I guess that has just become synonymous with "long post" by today's ISH kiddies. It was a very long joke. But yeah... meltdown I guess.

So NBA finds a way to help Cleveland push this series another game or two?

Not surprised.
