Pertaining to Winning a Title in Cle:

Recent Comments from today

"Well, for me, I think from a basketball standpoint, that's one of the reasons why I came back, but it's not the main reason I came back. It wasn't the only reason I came back, and there wasn't just one reason why I came back".

Kudos to LBJ for sponsoring full scholarships to 1,100 kids, though.

Comments from Lebron before going back to Cleveland July 2014:

"When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission," James said in the SI first-person story. "I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn't had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what's most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio.

This guy is hilarious :lol And his PR Campaign is trying really hard to keep him in a positive light. Never seen anything like this. Blatant lying without even letting 3 years go by. You can't make this stuff up.

I was actually rooting for him and CLE to chase that glory but after that p*ssy suspension on Dray. F**K the NBA. That suspension was a month late.

Actually, OP is confirmed for retard

Then from a basketball standpoint," James continued Sunday, "yeah, I mean, that's always been my goal since I was drafted in 2003. I was drafted in 2003, my goal was to bring a championship to Cleveland, and it hasn't changed. When I left, my goal was to bring a championship to Miami. That didn't change. And when I came back, it hasn't changed.

I'm not sure how I feel about him. I mean...I tried to root for him recently.

2007-2009 was a great time to root for him. He was playing inspired basketball and was fun to watch and wasn't nearly as much of a phagut as he is now.

Exactly, he is not winning a championship so clearly it wasn't the reason.

Then what were his intentions? You're either saying Lebron doesn't care about winning or Lebron is an idiot.

He chose to go to Cleveland, he chose to join Kyrie Irving, and he wanted Kevin Love and Tyronn Lue. It sounds like you're calling him an idiot.

Why are you so upset? Does Miami falling off a cliff and missing the playoffs once LeBron left upset you so much? :wtf:

The Heat were the 3rd seed in the east, winning just 6 less games than Lebron's last season in Miami. Not exactly falling off a cliff, and they did it with one of their 2 all-stars missing the 2nd half of the season. The Raptors team that pushed the Cavs to 6 games, the Heat pushed to 7 (with a 6'7 rookie at center for over half the series).

LeBron don't give a $hit about Cleveland. He went back to fix his image plus Wade was on the decline.

Facts only.

I don't get what's so wrong about what he said. What's most important for him is to bring a tittle to Cleveland, but it's not the only reason why he came back.

I mean, what's expected of Lebron. Must he sit up all night, with a pen and paper, and workout all the reasons and break them down in percentages?

It's like Lebron saying that he likes steak one day, then criticizing him because in another interview years later he said that he like chicken. It can only be steak now, he can't like both.

oh the horror

Bro. You show your bare ass on a board full of men in hopes that someone one day will mount you. You cease knowing what an "alpha" is. Stop.

His image was a factor, but he mainly wanted complete contol, something he'd never have in Miami. That's what it boiled down to. I agree he doesn't care about Cleveland,,and I'd say there's about a 50% chance he leaves. I don't think he's happy there and at this point in his career he just wants to win. He knows that isn't happening in Cleveland. This will be a very interesting off-season.

So what were the other reasons for him going back to Cleveland? And were those reasons not important enough for him to stay back in 2010?

Other reasons were to just help out his hometown and northeast ohio as said in article. Also you're kind of more desperate to win a title when you're ringless instead of when you have 2 rings. Also, someone could always argue his priorities are different and he's changed these 4 years even if I don't really believe it. He said this "I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn

"Win, lose or draw, I'm not happy, but I'm OK with it because I know I've given all I've got," he said. "One thing I can say, that I've been blessed enough to be a part of seven Finals, and hopefully I'll be blessed enough to play in many more even after this year."

I thought it was pretty well-known that him having power in Cleveland is a big part of the reason he went back to Cleveland.

And of course he wants to win a ring. Everyone wants to win titles.
