Curry and Durant may kick him out of the top 15 within 5 years. Both have skillsets that should allow them to have great longevity and play at an elite level even past age 30.

ESPN's ranking of him at 12 was two spots too high. They are a mainstream outlet though, and Kobe is loved by casual fans who know little else besides the fact that he has 5 rings.
