That doesn't solve the Knicks backcourt problem. Their defense improves but Bradley doesn't know how to run a team.

No thanks, unless Knicks get a lottery pick.

I feel like we make it out like thieves in this trade.

I don't see why the Cavs do this...they lose a solid rotation player that can defend other elite guards...and they replace Love with a no defense playing wing/forward.

Given that we know Lebron needs to spend more time at the 4 (melo's best position)...I just don't like this at all.

Love IS a no defensive playing wing/forward though

people have slept on Melo's D the past two years, it's been solid

Shump rarely even plays against opposing teams 1st unit, so his D gets glorified by guarding bench players

That is my point.

Why make a trade that you lose out on a rotation player and don't really gain much?

I'm not against trading Love, but trading him and Shumpert for Melo would be stupid.

Shump is playing like 20 minutes a game in the playoffs? I wouldn't be so quick to just shed him for nothing.

ESPN literally copy pasted and is using my trade machine for headlines. Wow

This makes Boston worse.

Not sure what the obsession is with getting softy Love into a Celtics uniform. Our team has zero presence around the rim and weak interior defense/rim protection and Kevin Love provides none of that for us. He shoots 3s and ignores his defensive assignments so he can ensure he's in position to inflate his rebound numbers. F*ck Kevin Love.

We don't need Shump...we've got one of the best on-ball guard defenders in the game right now in Avery Bradley who is on a better contract and is a better scorer than Shump.

So yeah, Celtics say no.

This. Celtics thrive with blue collar defensive players. Love brings none of that.
