It went undiagnosed and people played through it in the 60's-80's. Rather than being out for two weeks and having it in the back pocket for an excuse when you miss open shots and play like a passive bitch.

It's not even close to a serious injury. I guarantee that happened, Steph could have even come back earlier if needed

We shouldn't be making excuses for him. He's clearly not 100% physically, but it looks like a lot of it is a mental issue to me. He's playing soft out there and doesn't look mentally engaged.

But I do give a lot of credit to him for not making public excuses. Must be hard to ignore all the noise out there.

Curry has a mild ankle sprain that for any 10 year old boy would heal in 2 days

Dude Took 2 weeks off to heal from it

Curry is the healthiest guy in the playoffs right now, no one else got to miss An entire 2 weeks in the playoffs just to rest

Yeah LeBron just shruged it off and played on and that was it. Jordan idk, wouldn't matter no problem to play through it either I guess. Wade might need a wheelchair or he shrugs it off and plays on, depends on if he's on his period or not. Kobe plays through it but makes so that whole world knows it.

Maybe a sprain like Curry does. I do remember Jordan going for an up and under kind of move, a few seconds before half time, after scoring 27 points, and hurt his back pretty bad. I don't think he came back for that game, but was able to finish the series on a bad back. People play hurt during the playoffs. If not Jordan would have been out some games.

Isiah thomas played through one. Mike jordan pkayed thru a broken foot his second year.

Isiah suffered his ankle injury on the second to last game of the Finals, not in the middle of the playoffs like Curry

Isiah's statline for the game after suffering his ankle injury

10 points, zero reboulds, 4 assists, 33% FG

The narrative that Isiah played well through an entire playoff while injured his completely false

Michael Jordan suffered a broken foot during the regular season, he did not suffer it mid-way through the playoffs like Curry's MCL injury

Willis Reed got injured during game 5 of the finals, not during the middle of the playoffs like Curry. Reed only played one game after his knee injury

Final Verdict: No where near the same as Steph Curry's MCL tear midway through the playoffs

https://youtu.be/BQRYE-p1muA

As gone over before, Isiah Thomas suffered his injury game 6 of the finals, not during the middle of the playoffs like Curry. (Little known fact that Isiah choked and score 10 points 0 rebounds 7 assists on 33 percent FG in game 7 and lost the Finals, not a great example

Final Verdict: No where near the same as Curry tearing his MCL mid-way through the playoffs

https://youtu.be/HQpWgcUaeh4

Larry Bird missed the entire regular season rehabbing and recovering for his back, if Larry Bird played a full season like Curry and then Injured his back in the middle of the playoffs...it would be similar, but it's not. We can use this comparison next year if Curry takes off half the regular season to rehab his knee but I think Curry is far less injury prone than Larry and will be healthy by next year

Final Verdict: Nowhere the same as Curry's MCL tear mid-way through the playoffs

https://youtu.be/YIzrYcgfOH4

Really? MJ had a cold during the Finals. This is no where near tearing your MCL half way through the playoffs. This is getting absurd

Final Verdict: MJ had a cold in the finals, didn't have to play through the entire playoffs with an MCL injury, no where near the same as 2016 Steph Curry

https://youtu.be/V4RdCx5vruY

Kobe suffered his sprained Ankle mid way through the finals, Curry had to deal with it for the entire playoffs, Kobe also had Shaq on his team while Curry has Draymond Green...

BTW Kobe's Finals Stats that year he was injured 15/4/4/41% TS, Compare that to Injured Curry's stats right now 25/6/5/57% TS

Final Verdict: Kobe sustained a lesser injury and had to play less games on it, and had wores stats than Curry. No where near as severe as Curry's injury and Curry still performed better.

https://youtu.be/BPQkmD6RpF8

More absurd bullshit, comparing getting the cold in the finals to battling an MCL injury for the entire playoff

Final Verdict: Ridiculous, not even close to Steph Curry suffering an MCL injury mid-way through the playoffs

Sounds like you have a bullsh*t excuse to deflect every example of real All Time Greats playing through disablement.

How convenient for you this narrative that you've been trying to spin (by melting down with multiple posts),*so that if Curry does finally break out of his sh*tty slump and has a good game, you can overhype it and say how "amazing" it was that he had that game even though he was injured. Yet you have the perfect excuse if he doesn't.

This is true, he also had the cartilage removed. He's played 13 years in the league and had a HOF career with no damn cartilage in one of his knees. In the 2012 playoffs it was swelling up like a grapeftuit after every game. I know he had to have it drained at least once.
