If Kyrie Irving fails LeBron tonight, could you ever forgive him? If Irving lays a stinker in game 6 at home... in the NBA Finals... while Sabotaging LeBron's 3rd ring/FMVP... could you ever forgive that front-running loser?

I personally couldn't. I'd never let him live that down.

Love? He's a lost cause... we all already expect low production from him... ho hum. But with Irving finally established as a decent 2nd option, it'd feel like torture tonight if he chokes and blows it for LeBron. I'm literally praying he doesn't, but I have a sick feeling.

Ultimately, I think LeBron will prevail tonight. But Irving scares the hell outta me. God damn I hope this career loser doesn't fail us. :facepalm

I would be mad, but if I can forgive LeBron for 2011... sure

I'm nervous as well.

I'm sitting in my cabana here in Vegas, shaking, not talking to anybody around me. Just on my phone. They probably think i'm weird. At least I have a drink in my hand.

The thought of Irving choking will become reality. I know it. He will fold now that the spotlight is on him. He had a terrific game last time, but they're well past that now. Everybody is well past it. This is do or die time, and i'm afraid he won't step up when LeBron will need him the most.

And you're right. Kevin Love is pure and utter garbage. We already expect him to be a no show tonight and for the rest of the series. Phucking beta loser.

LeBron needs to go for a phucking miraculous triple double to push this to a game 7. I hope he can do it.

Irving is a frontrunner, much like Curry

When Lebron is hot, when the Cavs have the lead, is when Irving can get explosive.

But...

When the Cavs are down or when the guy he is guarding gets hot is when Irving stinks up the place

The guy is all mental, if his confidence is there, he can be lethal.. BUT if he drives, gets blocked once or turns it over, his balls shrink FAST and he curls up the rest of the game

Guys like Irving, it's crucial for him to get it going early

I have no confidence in Irving because he's inconsistent but I give him credit the past few games have been decent for a non all-star

Bro, I was literally gonna make a thread about that exact thing.

How Irving is great when the Cavs are rolling, and no-so-great when it's a tight struggle. Sometimes he's downright invisible like Curry.

We'll see if he can break his own character for just ONE night, and be consistently good throughout the game no matter the score like LeBron is every night.

Yup

He also has a wee bit of Westbrook in him to that he likes to go shot for shot with his opposing defender when he's with the 2nd unit, never happens when LBJ is there to check him.

You can always tell EXACTLY how Irving will perform the whole game just by evaluating the first 5 minutes of the game, it's a blessing of disgust.

Like you said, I don't expect anything from Love the rest of his time as a Cavalier, but it's crucial for him to have a 20/10 night tonight because I'm not All In on Irving having a solid back to back night.

Back to topic... Yes OP I'm scared. Kyrie has been good these series, but let's not forget he was a career loser before LeBron showed up.

And LeBrons teammates have a history of choking in big games

2007- Larry Huges Finals choke

2014- Wade was a disaster

2015- J.R choked

LeBron is always surrounded by the mentally weakest supporting cast :facepalm

I'm more concerned about LeBron out of the two tbh. I know Kyrie can cook Curry at any time. Will LeBron knock down his shots and get past Iggy/Draymond? Let's see.

If OP forgives Lebron for letting down Kyrie by being outperformed by Kyrie, then he's as big of a loser IRL as he is on ISH.
