Nobody comes back from a game 6 loss like this.

Get ready for 3/7.

GS just needs to take a page out of the Mavs/Spurs playoff series in 06. Mavs went up 3-1. Spurs came back. Tied at it 3-3. And that Game 7 was epic.

That's a good comparison but were the Mavs blown out in game 6? I've never seen a team in disarray in game 6 put it together for game 7.

GSW definitely have some issues. The biggest problem being LeBron and Irving. You can argue right now that the two best players on the court are those two. If those two show up like the last 2 games, Clev has a great chance.

Also, there is the Bogut and Iggy injury. Barnes completely disappearing.

Which is strange because Westbrook and Durant seemed like the more powerful combo. Could Bron/Irving be a better combo than Durant/WB?

Durant/WBs choking is what held them back and they could have upset the Ws.

The Warriors have looked tired and burned out these playoffs. They need a vacation.

Curry is running on fumes.

Live and die by the 3. IF they start dropping for the Warriors finally they will win easily.

Also if Barnes hits a shot that might help them too....

Oh without a doubt Lebron and Irving are the better duo. They're just way more dynamic and are killing it on defense. The fact that they actually have a legit bench is the icing on the cake

Yeah but their 3s are rushed and forced. I havent seen them play this bad in years.

LeBron > KD as two way player.
Irving > WB at creating his own shot against set defenses.

We can discuss all this Xs and Os stuff but when it comes down to it, these two guys have taken over offensively. Tristan has been absolutely amazing too.

Bogut going down is a huge loss. Probably the difference when all is said and done. Paint is wide open.

The shot misses and defensive lapses of the Warriors are just a symptom of the larger problem...which is they are being outmuscled. Green anchors the toughness of the Warriors but he is getting tossed around by Tristan Thompson; which doesn't set the right tone. Thompson and LeBron are controlling the paint on both ends of the floor. Kerr is fixated on going small - but it is wreaking havoc on their offensive confidence and defense. An obvious fix would be to put Ezeli in the game; Ezeli has 20 pounds on Thompson and has shown no problem out-muscling both Thompson and LeBron. Psychologically it makes a big difference; in real terms it does too with changing shots, keeping LeBron and Thompson from making easy points, but also setting hard screens on offense getting Warriors shooters free. (In Game 6, it didn't seem as though the Warriors set one hard screen; the big man would always roll right before the screen was set.) He was in Game 6 but for a few minutes at a time.

Warriors are not moving the ball. A rushed offense with no rhythm.

An interesting adjustment. I don't know enough about the Warriors to make lineup suggestions. Nothing obvious to adjust like the Love/LeBron redundancy on the Cavs. But if the Warriors can get rolling like their old selves they are lethal and whatever Bron/Irving do will not be enough offensively.

Warriors need a game where they score 120 points. They need a west-coast game.

GSW offense is flawed and this flaw shows up in the physicality of the playoffs. They don't have any offensive weapon inside the 3 point line who you can just throw the ball into and get a bucket for you. Their offense is predicated on ball and body movement, which is optimal ball but at some point, you have to be able to exploit every inch of the court, which they can't. That's when their offense can look bad, when the physicality of the game along with their shots not falling from deep.

Their defense is most troubling. No one is boxing out Tristan Thompson.

They're closing out on Lebron like he's Kevin Durant.

Green looks scared to go at Lebron on an ISO.

Barnes has been reduced to a Bruce Bowen.

Iggy/Bogut injured

Thompson and Curry playing like light skinned dudes.

Well according to Draymond, it was because he got suspended for punching Lebron in the nads.

I wouldn't compare imo one of the greatest series to this boring "blowout" series. This is one ugly, unexciting series.

I'm calling it now. If Warriors lose, they will coast next year to 60-62 wins and then kill it in the playoffs.

A loss could give them the "street hunger" they need. That's if they are going to go on and become a dynasty.

...and if the Cavs are there in the Finals again it could be an epic 3 game finals series...

a lot of "what ifs".

lol I see them doing that regardless if they win or lose. This is a new dynasty make no mistake about it. klay, steph, curry will carry this team for another 5 years at least. I don't see any young talent though and I feel once the wheels start falling off the main three we can potentially see a subpar team....I think its imperative they get a young big man NOW with a HIGH MOTOR if he is lacking skill....nerlens noel would be PERFECT.

Ezeli can't deal with the 1/5 or 3/5 PnR. They have been picking on him defensively. And he is a nightmare offensively.

Which is why he has a 94 ORTG and 109 DRTG in this series. If that's your answer, Cavs win.

They have the guy who got the most 1st team All NBA C votes in Draymond. They got Bogut who ranked #1 in the entire NBA in DRAPM. Their 3rd C is going to get 15M a year in FA this year because of his strength and energy. Their FOURTH C is Anderson Varejao who would be a worthy backup for most teams.

Saying the Warriors need more C depth is INSANE.
