1. 1991 Finals - Jordan dominates a top 5 all-time player

Jordan averaged 33 points and 11 assists while guarding Magic for 14 of 20 quarters (http://insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12376705&postcount=45) and holding him to 43% shooting.. Magic was runner-up for regular season MVP.

2. 1992 Finals - Jordan dominates the best wing in the game

Jordan averages 35 ppg on 52%, compared to Drexler's 25 ppg on 43%

3. 1993 Finals - Jordan averages a record 41 ppg

Jordan scores 41 ppg so the Bulls can keep up with the Suns' #1 offense.. Every ounce of this scoring was needed, considering both teams averaged exactly 106.7 ppg with a 113.0 ORtg for the series.

4. 1997 Finals - Jordan has flu game, 2 GW's, and series-winning assist

Jordan beats the team that swept Shaq's talented Lakers and Hakeem's Rockets

5. 1998 Finals - Jordan has historic Game 6 and series-winner

Before losing to the Bulls, the Jazz defeated Shaq's 4 all-star Lakers, Popovich/Duncan/Robinson's 56-win Spurs and Hakeem's Rockets - the Jazz also had a 100.3 DRtg in the playoffs, which is lower than anything Lebron faced in the Finals

6. 2016 Finals - Lebron dominates late in series for historic comeback

Lebron's scoring late in the series made him the series' best player and allowed his team to squeak by

7. 2012 Finals - Lebron wins WITHOUT dominating the best wing in the game

Lebron averages 29 ppg on 48%, compared to Durant's 31 ppg on 55%

8. 2013 Finals - Lebron wins without dominating

Lebron averages 25 ppg on 44.9%, including 3 straight games with less than 20 points

9. 2015 Finals - Lebron lets role player win FMVP

Lebron shot 39.8% and allowed his defensive assignment to be the key to the Warriors finding their offensive rhythm

10. 1996 Finals - Jordan relaxes

Jordan averaged 31 ppg on 46% to get his team a 3-0 lead, and then relaxed in garbage time - otoh, Pippen averaged 15 ppg on 34% for the series, which is the worst ever for a 2nd option.

11. 2014 Finals - Lebron lets role player win FMVP (again)

Lebron lets Kawhi average 24 ppg on 69% over the final 3 games - with Kawhi as the #1 option for the first time, the Spurs' offense is unlocked, and they play FAR better against the Heat than any other opponent

12. 2007 Finals - Lebron is exposed

Lebron's lack of jumpshooting and predictable ball-domination is exposed for the first time - however, despite his 22 ppg on 35%, each game is a single digit affair, including 1-possession nail-biters in Games 3 and 4

13. 2011 Finals - Lebron has the GOAT choke

He averaged 17 ppg and lost the series despite having 2 other top 5 players as teammates

It's true - Lebron is dominating, but Jordan did so more OFTEN

Just compare their Finals - Jordan has 5 Finals that he dominated at a goat level, whereas Lebron only has the last 2 games.

Durant played Lebron to a standstill in 2012 (actually outplayed him statistically) - Lebron didn't dominate him like MJ did Magic or Drexler or Barkley or Malone.. All those guys had good finals stats, but not Jordan-level
