He has been magnificent the last 4 games, where his team is 3-1. What sticks out most about him is that he always seems to hit a shot when GSW seems to be getting a little momentum. I call him the momentum killer.

Most people knew he was capable of this. His "game" was just all that. It's good to see him showing it on the biggest stage after last year's finals. He just has that look in his eyes like he knows he's that good and he wants more. Reminds me of some of the past killers.

Dude's more than capable of blowing up in game 7.

Umm.. OP trying to deflect from LeBrons greatness? :yaohappy:

Is to be expected, Bron wins Sunday and he's automatically better than Jordan. Sorry, but MJ moves to #2 all time

 So childish. I can openly give Bron credit. He's played at an all-time great level the last 2 games. But seeing the first page of ISH, I didn't see one Irving thread and many Bron threads and felt it was important to give Irving some props.

He's really the one slaying out there. Imagine if Lebron had to play while trailing.

kyrie's definitely been great. Part of it is just his game 6 wasn't as good the previous games so he got overshadowed. Was talked about a lot after game 5 and had an argument for FMVP.

Totally agree. Ever since game 3. His handle, aggressiveness and clutch hot shooting. His skills allow them to stop momentum with dominant looking scoring buckets that demoralize the Warriors. He's destroyed Steph every time they match up since game 1 ... so much so they dedicated Klay to him all last game.

Mad props to Kyrie!

Totally proving himself as an elite player and the Cavs have needed every bit of it!

Really makes me think the Cavs would've won last year without Love if Kyrie didn't get hurt.

Yet he still has been inferior to LeAlpha this series

Don't be to hard on him.

He is a child (and a damaged one at that).

He sent me a message about being mad at his mother last month. :wtf:

Poor kid.

If Cavs win, he NEEDS to get the FMPV award.

It's completely even between him and bron right now. Whoever plays better in game 7 (should they win) will get it

I thought after game 5 Bron was the FMVP for Cleveland but it was close, I don't see how you can argue Kyrie after Bron's performance last night.

He's had situations where he didn't want it in the past and that can't be disputed. But I'm not going to take anything away from him. He manned up and brought it the last 2 games, which is a STARK contrast from game 4. This is how he can continue to climb up the all-time rankings, by simply playing up to his potential, which is GOAT level.

That could be debatable after game 5.
But after game 6 this is just stupid to say.

Kyrie tweaked his ankle in the second half of game 6. He had 20 points in the first half but only shot 6 times in the second half and scored 3 points. For the cavs sake, he's healthy for game 7

If it wasn't for Kyrie's game 3 performance, this series is over.
He carried the team on his back while LeBron was throwing bricks and missing layups. James, however, more than made up in his last 2 games. But it's easy to each up numbers when you have a large lead from the get go. Pressure just isn't the same when the game is close. James didn't even need to put up those crazy stars to win both games. Guys like TT and JR really stepped up. I'm more afraid of JR. taking a 3 than I do of Curry right now.

LeBron really did step up though and delivered two incredible performances to will his team back. He was great in every facet. More importantly everytime GS made a run James would answer with a jumper. He didn't pass the ball like in the past, he actually took accountability as the leader. And he played brilliantly.

Why you hiding behind Jordan . It's his career . Not yours .

I have hate on some players , love on some players . But what was that fan boy type shit ?

And also , Russell is the goat . MJ just an advertising kid for generation of global era .

Last two games LBJ is averaging almost a point a minute and has turned it over only 3 times while playing 85 minutes

"but..but Kyrie has been equally impressive"

LeBron and Irving have been equally important. The last two games without either of the we lose. In game 6 without that great performance by Tristan Thompson we lose.

I suppose, Cleveland won huge both times. Everyone contributed.
In game 3, James was missing shots left and right and it was Kyrie that literally carried them. You don't remember?

James played brilliantly but Cleveland needed Kyrie's performance more than they did James's. They were up like 20+ both games and the game was never close once.

Comparing that to Kyriw literally making every shot he took as GS was trying to cut the lead?

Yep , it's a team sport . But i guess , Irving was a bit better in game 5 and Lebron was significantly better in other two wins .

Because Warriors missed Green/Iggy and Barnes was cold?

It was a 7 pt game at Oracle in Game 5 in the 4th until Irving scored 10 straight
