Everyone loves to be a shot caller. But it's easy to call when the media hype is there. I'm going to make my call. No hype. He's not Giles or Jackson which predictably some of yall are keeping an eye on. Check this kid Jonathan Isaac. This is the TRUE Durant. Not Ingram. Hateraid calls it here first

He certainly has a beautiful jumper. I'm excited that he chose FSU so I can see him live in ACC play.

BTW, congrats on the Stanley

Yeah, I'll end up going to 8-12 Pitt games per year, normally in conference play or if a good prospect is in town. Winning the Cup was awesome but honestly glad it's over because it was pretty wild here for the celebration and parade.

Draft stock went up a bit, but not quite the hype. I still stand by this!

I did get to see him live in Pitt this season. FSU had a dogshit game (we won) and Isaac was quiet so it was a disappointment. You can see the potential pretty easily tho and he fits in the current NBA really well. I'll be interested to see how he fares when he gets to play with better guards and a capable coach.

He's not the prolific scorer like Durant, but he will definitely be the steal of the draft. We're looking at a Giannnis situation

I think that's way too optimistic lol. I think it's more likely that he falls somewhere around prime Trevor Ariza being his floor and Paul George being his ceiling if he develops his ball skills a lot more.

Oh I didn't mean to say he's the next Giannis. Just another long athletic player who will get passed on because of how raw he is just like he was

Definitely has top 5 potential like the Greek freak

I'm on the Isaac train, got him going fourth on my final mock (https://mikeksmind.wordpress.com/2017/05/16/nba-mock-draft-4-0-pre-lottery-edition/) pre-lotto.

Boom or bust pick. Scary type of prospect. Either he's going to be a legit perimeter scoring Forward or the next J.Bender. No in between for me.

I'm not a huge fan. I don't see star quality in him. His handles are exagerrated and aren't very good, his shooting is nothing special. His assist/TO ratio has been mediocre

He's nothing like Giannis other then being tall and slender. Giannis is on a seperate level from these Ingram/Isaac types as far as fludity and ball handling go and he was always a much much better ball handler and passer.

One thing that bothers me the most about Isaac is his small hands, he's always bobbling the ball, you can't be a star if you can't catch the ball on the drive..

Some qualities that I like are that he should at least be an above average defender eventually and can shoot a little mainly spot up jumpers..

That said I wouldn't touch Isaac in the top 10 of the draft.

I didn't mean he was a copy of giannis

I just said that we could see a similar situation to what he had, a long athletic player who has the highest potential passed on because of how raw he is
