No, it's because LeBron since high school has been touted as an all-time great in the making and has to live up to a certain expectation with his over-the-top athleticism and skill in the body that he has.

Curry is built like a regular man, not super-athletic and wasn't touted to be anywhere near where he is now. He's where he is right now becuase he worked on perfecting what he does best. Shoot the basketball unlike any other player in NBA history. People love the underdog over-comig the odds.
