The original was groundbreaking. The movie "made for DVD/surround sound". Now, the anticipation is pretty meh. There's been so many other similar movies put out since.

The original had the GOAT worst movie ending IMO

They uploaded a microsoft virus to an alien mothership :facepalm

You don't need to be a computer nerd to know how stupid that is...a microsoft virus won't even work on a Mac machine, much less a programming language that is literally alien.

I'm sure in the sequel they will joke about how ridiculous that is.

I hope Willi Smith swallow his pride, and the director bring back his character in Part 3.

No Willie, no watchie.

Looks like they got the most generic Black dude they could find to replace him. :lol

So now the aliens can manipulate gravity, basically the most crucial natural force on the planet and I'm supposed to believe, even with a suspension of disbelief, that Earthlings can crumble the paper football heads again?

Nah dawg, I'm no longer 8 years old. I'll probably watch it on cable but no way will this not be dogshit and generic.

The original was novel due to when it was released but the market been flooded for years with everything this appears to be- aliens, disaster effects in CG and crappy digital color palettes.

LMAO President Bill Pullman been living boarded up in an A-51 bunker since the last invasion? Dunno if I can trust this man's psyche if I'm U.S. Intelligence

He tried way to hard to be Will Smith. They should have hire Michael B. Jordan.
