Curry suffered an MCL injury

LeBron was 100% healthy

Warriors won one when Cavs had some injuries, Cavs won one when Warriors had some injuries

We saw on X-mas day when both squads were healthy what happened, Cleveland got slaughtered

Next year we will have a rematch of two healthy teams hopefully, and we will see who wins

My money is on Golden State

Yes

And last year he raised his points per game in the playoffs and finals

The only difference between this year and last is that this year Curry suffered an MCL injury midway through the playoffs, last year he did not

So it is easy to see that the only differentiating factor between the two years was Curry's knee injury

Curry's knee injury was the cause of his drop in points per game

He will have surgery and be healthy for next year and we will see the same playoff Curry that we did in 2015

Curry can go shoot at Dave and Busters for all that bullshit.

Not really, I think Curry's prime is over. He will never recover from this, just like Ronaldinho free-falling after 2006 world cup. The Warriors need to trade him while he still has value. Signing him for MAX next season will lock the Warriors up for at least 5 years of mediocrity.

And nope, injury is not the excuse. Just like last year's Cavs injuries were no excuse either, a loss is a loss. Injury is part of the game, Irving/Love's injury from last year didnt make Warriors 2015 title less deserving, and same here with Lebron and Cavs 2016 even if Curry is injured.

I'm good

It was a good fought series, Golden State came from behind even through questionable foul calls, bogus suspensions, and multiple injuries and still was one bucket away from winning it all

Next year when Curry is back from knee surgery and is 100% it's going to be a repeat of 2015 and the Christmas game

Remember 2015: The Warriors played the Cavs who were without Irving for 5 of the 6 games and Love was out since round 2 started in the playoffs. The Warriors played against every team that had their starting point guard injured.

Remember. Honestly let go of it.

Curry said it best in the post-game conference. "No excuses."

Curry isn't going to make it to the finals again. Teams know how to stop him now and he doesn't know how to pass out of the trap.

I have to disagree

Curry will come back next year stronger than ever

You are projecting your "never recover" type of attitude to Curry

Curry is a winning alpha, he doesn't have those type of beta feelings you are projecting onto him

Curry suffered a major MCL injury this year during the playoffs and his play suffered because of it

He is going to get surgery during the off season and come back healthy and be better than ever

Well if Curry truly is a winning alpha, he wouldnt have allowed OKC Thunder to go up 3-1 in WCF, and wouldnt have given away this trophy to Lebron after leading 3-1 with HCA.

Irving and Love were injured for Cleveland last year

Love has proven that he doesn't match up well with the Warriors so he isn't a big deal

It was pretty much only Irving

Irving isn't even his team's best player, Curry is

Cleveland's second best player was injured, Golden State's best player was injured

Also their 3 best defenders missed games due to injury and bogus suspension

2016 Warriors were far more injured than the 2015 Cavaliers

When both Squads were 100% healthy on Christmas we saw what happened, that was in CLeveland too

Congrats for Cleveland fans but we all know what is going to happen next year when Curry and GS gets healthy

Curry is a winning Alpha but he suffered an MCL tear only a few weeks after that game, he was no where near 100% health

We saw what Curry did to OKC when he was healthy...he killed them

He was "exposed" because he suffered an MCL injury a few weeks prior

If you are going to act like that never happened then so be it

But it is what it is, his knee was injured, he needed surgery and had to postpone it till after the playoffs

Those are the facts, you can live with them or deny them

It's up to you

Injuries are no excuse. He was healthy enough to play. Everyone is tired and hurt at that point in the season. Lose with some dignity.

Well its pointless to discuss this, injuries are a part of the game. If Curry is as great as you think he is, he will respond with a greater performance next year, just like Lebron responded after losing 2 straight NBA Finals.

But I am not high on this, I think Curry's prime is over. Its also interesting to note that Curry is injury prone and to stay healthy like he did in 2015 was a luxury. If he is injured again next year, you may say Curry isnt healthy again, but doesnt change the fact that he loses.

Almost everyone is tired and hurt at this point of the season, true

Some players are more hurt than others, this is true as well

So no other players in the Finals suffered an MCL injury or something equivalent to it during the post season besides Curry

Therefor Curry was the most injured player in the Finals

This isn't a black and white thing, its not you are healthy or hurt, there are different degrees

Curry was the most injured player in the Finals

Sure, hope you enjoy making opinions on players who are fresh off an MCL injury that needs to be surgically repaired...

Doesn't seem like too bright of an idea though

Curry will be back next year but he will have surgery fixing his injured MCL and he will be back 100%, and it's going to be a great season

Your team just choked a 3-1 lead WITH home court.

Your "MVP" just proved he isn't even the most important player on his team.
