Way to go out Richard.

Richard Jefferson says he's retiring. "Hell of a way to go out."

I love him. One of the first things I said to my friend was how happy I was that he finally got a ring

What a way to finish. Playing some of the best roleplaying basketball of his career.

So much heart he epitomised what the Cavs were about this year.

Yep
Just that deep willed energy
The way he brought the team together with that snapchat stuff

Crazy how San Antonio was always the team to make players like this look good again, but even they struggled to find room for him. Then he comes to Cleveland and helps them pull off this.
Congrats to him.

Dude exceeded every expectation in these finals. He's almost like the Livingston of last year

I am happy for RJ as a nets fan, he was one of the best players in our golden days. Now that Kidd and RJ have had their dreams fulfilled, only VC is still left without a ring, how unfortunate.

Was great addition. Will be a loss Cavs need to sign a 3/D wing that is still in Prime to replace him.

Well deserved. He's a main reason the momentum changed in the series when Love went out with the concussion. His number was called and Jefferson more than showed up to answer that call with his smart and all-out effort.

I dont get this.
He was playing great and looked like he could continue like that for 2-3 years.
He was very valuable to cavs.

A lot of guys do that. They hang on as long as they can and go to contenders. Some get it, most don't. Remember Peja Stojakovic did same thing with Dallas.

Props to RJ... He definitely put in work with multiple teams, remember those New Jersey squads for sure... Can't blame him for going out on top

RJ was huge for us all year, but especially in The Finals. I'm sorry to see him go, because he still has plenty left in the tank, but I admire his decision. There isn't a better way to go out.
He'll forever be beloved in Cleveland.

He'll no doubt end up on Waltons coaching staff in some capacity.

RJ reminded me of Battier back in Miami. Hard nosed vet who glued the team.

RJ is always been a class act. He was an excellent role player in the playoffs and in the finals.
Love to see the Cavaliers bring Danny Green, or develop Jordan Mcrae.
