View Full Version : We just witnessed the biggest choke in NBA history

Even bigger than the Spurs 2013 choke (which was redeemed in unbelievable fashion the following season).

Curry is an absolute fraud and Kerr isn't the coach we thought he was. Walton might actually be better.

Very difficult to win in this league if you're mostly a jumpshooting team.

Curry was a stud last year and he didn't play as well this year

Difference was this year he suffered a serious MCL injury midway through the playoffs

I do agree that Luke Walton is better than Kerr though

That was OKC this year. Cleveland simply outplayed the Warriors.

No excuses. If Curry wants to be best in the world he has to beat Lebron in the Finals next season.

Curry is not a fraud. He is what he is. The greatest 3 point shooter in history. The problem with him is that, outside of his 3 point shooting, he can't impact the game in other ways. In a way, he's a prisoner to his own shot. He can't/won't expand his game outside of shooting.

A grade 1 sprain is not a serious injury, and he suffered the injury in the first round, not midway through the playoffs.

Did James trap the ball against the glass for a goal tend?

No because even though they were up, Thunder wasn't supposed to win initially.

It it was a serious MCL injury he wouldn't have played at all.

It was a choke but there were some outside forces involved, Draymond was too aggressive at the wrong moment and Bogut is an injury timebomb waiting to happen

LeBron found his groove at the same time that GSW lost their composure, it was the perfect storm.

Today I learned that LeBron IS better than Magic like I stated before and everyone melted, he's only 1 behind him in finals triple doubles on 2 less appearances, he's no joke!

Also, delusional Jordan fanboys will conclude that GSW was susceptible to elite midrange scoring threats (Durant/WB/LBJ) and be led to believe that his Bulls teams would be able to beat them, I'm sorry to reveal that LeBron is a greater floor general/outside shooter and is the only "old school" type player in history capable of adapting to the current "3 point era", he shot 40% from outside in this series and hit numerous game clinching jumpers from distance while dominating inside and commanding the offense,an unmatched accomplishment.

GSW failed but their impact on the league hasn't been lost, I'm bummed that the revolutionary Nash was unable to win a coattail ring but it was the best finals matchup I've seen to date and have few complaints.

Oh yeah, Kevin Love still sucks, going to be a tough decision dealing with him now.

No, Thunders choked much worse.

Bullshit, the Thunder didn't have 2 out of 3 games at home. GS had TWO chances to close this out at home and failed miserably.

Definitely the biggest choke job ever.

1) Leading series 3-1 (Lost game 7 at home)
2) 73-9. The greatest ever regular season record
3) Had first ever unanimous MVP.

...and just for fun, they lost more games in the playoffs than they did in the regular season.

Edit: they lost as many games**

It is one thing to have an underwhelming performance, but Curry cost the Warriors the title. He stopped playing team ball in the final couple of minutes and threw up trash that was not even close to going in.
