Nah, it definitely had something to do with Curry being voted UMVP. He said something like: " and Lebron, it was unanimous" while handing him the trophy. We all remember Lebron mentioning something about who the MVP is and who the best player in the league is a couple weeks earlier and getting torched by the media. I'm not saying Silver was trolling Curry or admitting that Steph wasn't a worthy UMVP (cause he was), but you can't deny that his quote had something to do with the whole situation.

No it didn't. Everyone was caught up after the series at how well LeBron played, and Silver was just reaffirming that by stating everyone agreed he was the FMVP. There's really nothing more to that.
