Love doesnt fit this team and he would be a much better player on another team.Chris Bosh fits this team like a glove and his pick and roll defense is way better than k love.Heat may do this deal the cavs need to try to make this deal happen if they want to repeat

I don't know what the Cavs can do during the offensive. Jefferson is retiring and J.R. Smith declined his option to seek more money in free agency and he'll probably get it with the performance he had all season and he played well both ways in the postseason.
I was all pro-trading Love when he was looking horrible against Golden State, but then I have to understand he's usually helping the Cavs win games. It was just a matchup issue because it's hard to hide two below-average defenders on the team in the same lineup (Love and Irving). Then the fact he was +19 on the floor today and played decent defense on Curry at the end of the game on an important possession.
I'm sad to see Jefferson go. For 35 years old he still has some athleticism and he answered when his number was called. He helped change the momentum of the series.

Can they even do anything other than sign vet minimum contracts?
Love is tricky...vs any team other than the Warriors...he's going to be a positive over the course of a long series.
But against the Warriors he's not worth his contract.
So...if you know the Warriors and Cavs are playing in the finals next year...trading Love would make sense. But if it's another team...unless you get a huge haul for him...it probably doesn't make sense.
This team does desperately needs (not desperately of course as they just won the ****ing title...haha) another solid wing that can defend and shoot the 3. They would be noticeably better with that addition.

I think they should try to get J.R. back. To me he's their best three point shooter and he's their best bad-shot three point shooter where it shouldn't go in, but it does anyway.
Jesus, I thought I've never say "We need to get J.R. back." :oldlol:
It's all going to be up to Gilbert. He spent the money so the Cavs could win it all and that happened. As it stands now they were be in the luxury tax a second year in a row. Only way to me to get significantly better is LeBron opts-out and tanks a pay cut or structures his contract so maybe he's making less money now and more money later, or if Love or Irving restructures their contracts.

JR will be back. For sure...
Well...Love and Kyrie aren't restructuring. Maybe some vet slips through the cracks that can provide some defense and shooting for two stretches a game off the bench.
Frye will be nice to have for all of next year, but an addition on the wing would be really nice.
Unless Durant leaves the Thunder...there are at least 3 powerhouse teams looming in the West. And the Cavs will need as much as they can get to repeat.
