Did Lebron lead everyone in scoring by a 15 ppg margin?.... Nope.

He barely led his team in scoring, so all of your stats are less impressive than Jordan leading his team in scoring by 15 ppg (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=411496) AND leading his team in passing - MJ led the Bulls in assist percentage for both 3-peats (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11713121&postcount=49).

Jordan's goat scoring load, team-leading passing, and best-ever defense at his position is the goat performance and biggest load ever carried.

yeah LeBron really did post some impressive numbers, but let's not act like he's the only guy playing well out there. Irving and TT are great contributers

Jordan defeated Shaq and Magic - that's better than anyone Lebron has ever played, let alone defeated.

Defeating 70 + win teams is so common.

Oh, we're talking team wins?

Jordan defeated three times the number of 50-win teams in his playoff career as Lebron - ESPN has a graphic showing this:

Ordan was never the underdog when in the finals. Fact.

Ordan was never the underdog when in the finals. Fact. Why would he be? He wouldn't even let his team get to a Game 7. Too dominant.

Comparing the double-teaming of MJ and Lebron in 1989 and 2015 playoffs:

Jordan faced every possession double-teaming in 1989 Playoffs, especially against the Pistons' "Jordan Rules" in ECF.. Here's an example from Game 6, starting at the 9 minute mark (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4W_0I82B18&t=1h21m11s) of 4th quarter - MJ is double-teamed 10 of 13 times he touched the ball to finish out the game.. All 10 double-teams shown are shown in gifs here (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11703590&postcount=88).

In comparison to Jordan being double-teamed 10+ times per QUARTER, Lebron was double-teamed a total of 18 times in the ENTIRE 2015 Finals:

"When James was double-teamed, the Cavaliers scored 5 points on 2-of-18 shooting".

Jordan was an underdog in 1991:

NBA.com:

"Even with that and home court advantage, the Bulls were considered big underdogs to the Lakers in the Finals and the vast majority of media "experts" predicted an easy Lakers' victory."

http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/top-20-moments-1990-91-season.html//

Rolling Stones:

We know Michael Jordan as Michael Jordan — six-time champion, greatest of all time, in desperate need of a good tailor. But when he went head-to-head with Magic Johnson's Lakers in his first Finals appearance, he seemed like just another upstart due to be defeated by the late-period Showtime squad. Instead, Jordan coronated himself as the best by leading a convincing five-game victory, and so another baton was passed between generations: It was now MJ's league, and he'd win five more championships within the next seven years."

Jordan also won 2 Finals without homecourt (1993 and 1998)

god damn

That Rolling Stone link was their ranking of the top 14 playoff upsets ever - the 1991 Bulls' upset of the Lakers made the list.

Also, I corrected the nba.com link in that post - there's simply no debate that the Bulls were underdogs in 1991 - it's a fact like the sky being blue.

lebron got you shook.

Not at all - it's good that he accumulates some more accolades - people don't realize how great Jordan was and they literally forget, UNLESS someone else does well enough so the subsequent comparisons show Jordan's accolades to be far superior.

So far, Lebron has half the FMVP's and half the rings, so Jordan doubles him from an individual and team standpoint.

When I watched the game , his calmness , leadership of experience showed how it can pay off.
Love , in the paint , critical time boards.

Irving critical shots .

Cav's DEFENSE.

And most of all the Block of a layup at 89-89 LEBRON JAMES

Amazing ....

It really was a great game, both teams can be proud to have played in it.
