Which one you take.

Both won championship, then next year had great regular season and losing the finals in 7 games.

I'll take the goons over the silver spoon light skins

Golden State is the better team imo, but this would be a bad matchup for em.

Pistons win this because of defense.

Of course. Lets all shit on GSW now and pretend like they couldn't beat anyone ever.

They'd beat Detroit quite comfortably most of the time on the basis of probability.

"Comfortably" is a stretch as Detroit had one of the best defense of all time plus Big Ben who was a beast those days.

I think Warriors still beat them 7 out of 10 times, but it won't be easy.

Warriors have the edge here because of their otherwordly offense. But don't act like Pistons don't have a chance. Imagine Tayshaun Prince and his length hounding Curry all series, like KD did in the WCF. Also Pistons win the battle of the boards easily.

Pistons will give the Warriors fits but I'm not sure if they have enough firepower to compete with GSW.

I loved the old pistons and heavily dislike the current warriors chucker style basketball but the warriors take this easily. The pistons could barely score and got lucky in 2004 with an imploding no defense playing laker squad.
