from what I gather from the small bits ive seen of him hes just a bit ticked off about Lebron being claimed better than Jordan by his fans and I suspect he goes a bit too far in trying to disprove it.

He also has become an extremely watered-down version of his former self as he's gotten older. He's gone a little softer, and yeah you can argue a lot of it coincides with the fact that his number 1 draw, his LeBron bashing, became less meaningful after he won. 2004-2011 Cold Pizza/1st and 10 Skip was his peak.
