Obviously, this championship means more to LeBron than any other. It also makes good on his promise to bring Cleveland a championship. Not to mention, it somewhat silences all the critics who criticized him for leaving Cleveland and joining the Heat in Miami. It seals his spot, in most peoples minds, in the top 5-10 players of all time. It destroyed the legacy of an all time great team the Golden State Warriors. The '16 Warriors had broken the '96 Bulls regular season wins record and looked primed to win back to back championships. However, LeBron's Cleveland ring destroyed them. Now, they will be nothing more than the greatest regular season team that crumbled at the sight of a championship.

LeBron's Cleveland ring chipped away at the legacy of one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, Stephen Curry. Curry could have possibly been a two time champion and maybe even won his first Finals MVP. Now, he's just another runner up trying to catch the King.

This ring... makes LeBron forgiven in the eyes of every Cavalier fan. This ring... is the ring that rules them all..

The ring that beat the 73-9 regular season juggernaut the Golden State Warriors. The ring that came back from down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to make NBA Finals history. The ring that forgave LeBron. The ring that brought Cleveland it's promised championship. The ring that cemented LeBron's legacy.

I'd say it's top five

67 - 76ers
77 - Trail blazers
83 - 76ers
11 - Mavericks
16 - Warriors

There are three factors for deciding which is the greatest ring in history:

-Strength of performance
-Strength of competition
-Strength of supporting cast

As for LeBron in 2016, these speak for themselves:

-Strength of performance:
-The only player to lead both teams in the finals in all 5 statistical categories in any playoff series of any length, let alone a finals series
-Highest game score finals game: 42.5 GmSc in game 6
-One of the all time great defensive plays in league history

Overall: #1, GOAT finals performance

Strength of competition:
-Beat a 73-9 team (greatest record of all time) while coming back from being down 3-1

Overall: #1, Beat the greatest team that was ever beaten in a playoffs/finals series

Strength of supporting cast:
-Lottery-bound Cavs' record was 1-5 in the 6 games LeBron missed in 2015-16, and 4-23 in the 27 games LeBron missed in the 4 seasons he played with the Cavs from 2014 to 2018
-0 All-star teammates
-0 All-NBA 1st team teammates
-0 All-NBA 2nd team teammates
-0 All-NBA 3rd team teammates
-0 All-defensive 1st team teammates
-0 All-defensive 2nd team teammates
-Aside from Hakeem in 1993-94, the 2015-16 Cavs were and are the only championship team which had only one player (LeBron: All-star, All-NBA 1st team member, Finals MVP) that received any type of individual award or accolade since the introduction of the all-star game in 1951.
Overall: Maybe not THE weakest supporting cast of any championship team ever, but certainly bottom 5. Only Hakeem's 1993-94 and Rick Barry's 1974-75 supporting casts were worse for sure.

Conclusion:
-Strength of performance: #1 of all time
-Strength of competition: #1 of all time
-Strength of supporting cast: #3-5 worst of all time

All factors taken into consideration, it is easily, and I mean EASILY the greatest ring of all time. :applause:

tl:dr but short answer...no. Also, those Warriors were such a juggernaut that they should've been eliminated in the WCFs when they were down 1-3...KD's epic choke job saved them from that embarrassment though.

72-10 Bulls >>> 73-9 Warriors who choked

Beat an injured team and someone got suspended purely to extend the series/for Lebron, so no it isn't.

Beat an injured team

This isn't about the Warriors beating the Celtics.

Probably a bottom 5 ring in the last 20 years

Took 7 games to beat a depleted warrior team lol :oldlol:
